Game Master Helikon

The adventure begins in Sothis, where Venture-Captain Norden Balentiir requests that the PCs travel to the Sanctum of the Sages.

Maps and Handouts&Chronicles

I'm recruiting up to six players for a CORE session of Beacon Below. If you are interested, please drop a post. It's first come, first served.

Please keep in mind that the GM is based in Europe and is posting during office hours. We will use Google Presentation for the maps.

Projected start date is Feb. 18, 2018. If we fill in earlier we might start earlier.

The Exchange

Scipio is 1st lv no xp yet. If this is higher tier I’ll just play a pregen if that’s ok. If it’s tier 1-2 we’ll stick with Scipio

Grand Lodge

This will be my first CORE game so I will play pregen also.

I warmly welcome you!

I've been wanting to try core. I'll join with pregen Merisiel (7th, right?) to apply to a new core character.

Silver Crusade

i have this little gnome who could come, he is almost 2nd level

OR...

Silver Crusade

This cleric.

Just an info it is 7-11.

Silver Crusade

I could use a pregen

Silver Crusade

The sorceress would be fun.

So we have Sorceress and Rogue.
What would you like to play Scipio and Barm

Grand Lodge

Barm will be fighter.

Silver Crusade

Hooray! Almost there!

Silver Crusade

Scipio?

Uh, hello there. Is this recruitment thread still open?
I noticed the projected start date was the 18th. I hope I'm not too late. I'm in several games that have started to slow way down right now and am looking to join another. I'm perfectly willing to fill in to whatever role is not yet covered yet.

As we haven't started yet you are welcome

Excellent, thought I should ask. I've run into a GM who was very strict about the starting time of his campaign.

Okay so what do we have here for our party? Starting at 7th level.
Melee two-weapon Fighter, Rogue, Sorceress, and Cleric. Seems like this party is just asking for the Bard to join them.
Although a melee Paladin to act as a solid assist for the fighter and off healer so the Cleric can do other things would be great.
Then there's the sniper Ranger for additional combat and the wilderness aspect of things.

I think I will go with a Paladin this time around.

Silver Crusade

Sounds like fun. I have never played the sorcereress before.

Excellent! Please make your first posts in gameplay and give the necessary infos in the discussion thread!

Upon closer inspection, it seems I've stumbled into the world of organized Pathfinder Society Play. Given the need for listing numbers and factions. I'm going to be looking into the necessary registration information throughout tonight.

For character progression, what does it matter if we're standard or slow? Is it just for experience/treasure adjustments as normal? Is it a personal choice? More based off of race? Or more role-play aspect?

When listing Day Job, you mean our character's day job right?

So if you're new to Organized Play 1st off Welcome! I'll address your questions best I can.

1. Yes 1st thing you need to do is go to the My Organized Play Tab and get a Pathfinder Society ID#

2. Next you'll need to register a character. (for this game you'll want to register a CORE character) you'll really only need a name and a loose concept of the character you want to eventually build. Because, you will not be playing him/her, in this adventure. Rather you will be playing a 7th level pre-generated character which can be found HERE be sure you pick a character from the core rulebook only. It will be the 7th level version of the character.

3. As for progression it's your choice..slow means it takes 6 adventures to level (generally) and standard 3 adventures ..the default is standard.

4. As for a 'Day Job' don't worry about it right now we can roll after the adventure. Suffice it to say if you use one of your skill ranks (in your registered character) in either the Craft, profession, or perform skills. You could earn a little extra gold between adventures.

Hope this helps.

Okay, So I've gotten my ID# and now have a registered character.

I followed the link you have but I can't seem to find the area where the characters are pre-generated. Is there a specific link on that page I should be looking through?

I'll be choosing Seelah, as she's the group's Paladin. I own a core rulebook but I don't have any idea where you'd find the iconic character stat blocks.

Scarab Sages

Is recruiting still open?
I'm in the UK, and posting during office hours right now (bad, I know).

I have three ongoing PCs, but all are for standard PFS, so I'd be running a pregen like the others.

I'm happy for everyone who posted already to have first pick of classes, and I can take what ever complements them.
Am I right in thinking there's already Rogue, Sorcerer, Fighter and Paladin? Plus whatever Scipio brings?
So, if accepted, I'd be leaning toward Bard, Cleric or Druid.

Sure one spot is open. Also I post from Germany.

Scarab Sages

I think I'll try out a level 7 Lem.
Since there's enough melee brutes to keep him safe, and make inspiration worthwhile!

Scarab Sages

Do you have a link to the site where the maps would be hosted?
Just to check I can access them from work.
If I can't, I'd have to pass.

Silver Crusade

He usually posts them on this site.

Grand Lodge

Okay, so here's a placeholder halfling bard, to represent that I'd be using pregen Lem.
