Compleat Encounters: Throne of the Gorilla King

We are now shipping Throne of the Gorilla King.

We've done one thing a bit differently with this set - instead of the double-sided map cards depicting "before" and "after" versions of the same location, one side covers the included adventure, while the other side depicts an adjacent location suitable for one of the hooks we provide in the "Concluding the Encounter" section at the end of the adventure.

Great! I hadn't ever considered how creepy apes can be as foes until I started reading Lovecraft, and Moorcock, oh, and Ashton Smith (I just got into these guys in the last few years, late bloomer I suppose). This set looks like a good start.

I am especially pleased to hear about the new map design. That should prove to be more useful for me. Thanks for the update!

Note that this was only for this set—the next sets are back to the before/after style. However, we are contemplating this as a permanent change to the line in future (it's all about the cartography resources).
