So, a thought just crossed my mind. If you happen to run into each other, what is this party's feelings about joining forces? I'm just feeling the waters right now. I never expected a meeting to really happen, but right now you're tracking toward each other and I want to be prepared for most possibilities of my parties bumping into each other in a super deadly dungeon.

Have they lost people too? I am totally open to joining, which could be interesting.
My worry is that a huge party would slow things down, and it already seems somewhat hard to keep the momentum going.

On the other hand, if they have lost people, the people left are the ones that are keeping things moving, so I might be worried for nothing. Also, bigger party might help us not die. :)

What would we do about experience? I'm assuming we are at different levels, but I don't really know.

You're actually at the same level. They have lost one, so it's a party of 5. If you joined it would be a large group indeed. As I said, it may not happen. Just polling the populations. :)

i am good either way, I do dislike large parties. I worry that some of our synergies might get lost.

The only potential problem I could see in merging the groups (besides size) would be how Catarya & Vuzi might get along... or not. Vuzi is their Oracle/Sorcerer who has undead companions. Catarya might have a problem with that, lol

I actually think that we are in the groups we are for a reason, both groups probably have different play styles.

still a meet up would be great, possibly sharing some stories. maybe even an encounter or two.

let's see how that plays out first before deciding to join up or not.

For whatever it may be worth, not everyone on our side is a big fan of the undead either. The zombie she's trying to bring back to life and acts under his own free will. The trolls... The trolls are new and even caught poor Vuzi off guard. If they do cross paths it should make for an interesting encounter.

I just have the one teamwork feat because our hunter and his animal companion also has it
I personally would have gone bard over skald, but that's just me (mostly because Cain wouldn't benefit from skald and neither would primary casters)

I think the choice of Skald over Bard has to do with armor proficiency issues. The performance is less useful though.

The main point there is that a Bard can't cast spells in medium or heavy armor. But a Skald can cast in medium armor (though not heavy).
