If able, Siondel moves to a position where he can shoot this trogolydite with an arrow.
1d10 + 2 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 4 - 4 = -4 to hit, for 1d8 ⇒ 6 piercing damage
His arrow sails past everyone and completely misses the mark.
1d100 ⇒ 55 (high is good) if arrow breaks
Somehow, the shaft remains unbroken, lightly sticking out of a door jam down the hall.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
I am not sure if I pass or fail the save, so I will post accordingly
The sudden blow forces Jax's mouth open. A wave of stench enters him and the elf has to battle against the nausea as he tries to finish the troglodyte off.
Scimitar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Axe: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Alas, Augier finishes the creature with his spear thrust over the heads of his companions. The stalwart Jax is overcome with nausea, but the passage way is clear, minus the trog bodies. It is still the wee hours of the morning, before sunrise.
On the map, you are in that passage way behind rooms 7,8,9, on the upper floor of the Golden Grain Inn. Where do you want to go from here?
Siondel Greensinger
"This place is way too convoluted for a simple country inn. Why would they need all these secret doors and whatnot? Was it a brothel, or drug den at some point?"

You look rather hurt there Jax, maybe try to stitch those wounds?
The elf looks at his wound and nods with a smile "It would be much appreciated, Master Dwarf, but I am unsure if any of the present knows how to treat such wounds." he says. Using a piece of his clothing, the elf bandages his own wound.
Merely for flavour reasons right now, but I do have Heal at +6 ^^
Once in the other room, the elf inspects the storage chest and the rest of the room, trying to find any sign of kidnapping or fight.
I'm trying to see if someone got kidnapped recently or not, I'm unsure if that calls for survival or perception. If it's Perception, add +3 to the following roll.
Survival: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Cerilis Silvertree
Cerilis steps forward and inspects the chest. Looking at it from many different angles.
Search the room while I see what I can do about this chest.
I will take 10 on the checks as I do have the time right now. Perception:16 and disable device:21
GM DeathbySuburbs
Cerilis is able to open the metal chest and immediately notices that he narrowly missed triggering the poison lock trap. Inside he finds five gems (500gp x 2,450 gp, 300 gp, and 200 gp.) 160 pp and 1,087 gp. Three glass bottles of clear liquid are wrapped inside a velvety cloth. There are some clothes in a wardrobe that look clean.
Cerilis Silvertree
There are clothes hanging in the closet...and this is a lot of change for such a small town. Whomever is staying here has been taken or is in on the abductions.
He stands and looks around the room
I am leaning towards they are in on it as this chest would not have been left behind and there does not seem to be any signs of a struggle.
He thinks for a minute.
We came up a flight of stairs around the corner, I think we should go back down the secret passage way. Check out that last door and then work our way around towards the stairs. If we are going to be trapped up here, I would prefer to fight on one side.
We should check these items for magic before we leave this room...and check the rest of the room. Can you cast a detect magic?
Cerilis looks over at the dwarf as he speaks the last sentence.
I say we got to room 10 and then to 11,12,13,14 and then down stairs.
Siondel Greensinger
"If only for the attack during our stay, I say this material has become forfeit to us. That only seems fair to me."
Siondel follows the rest of the crew, bow in hand.
GM DeathbySuburbs
Cerilis unlocks the door to another empty room, only this one is luxurious. From the furniture to the fixtures and even the landscape paintings, this room is reserved for those with coin to spend. A quick search around reveals that unlike the room that you lifted gems from, there are no personal affects of any kind and the room is meticulously kept.

Jax nods at Augier's plan "Shall I lead the march, fellas? Now that I am warm and ready I'd rather not stop." says the elf with an eager smile.
Cerilis Silvertree
It is not a smart move to leave rooms unexplored behind you as you investigate a hostile building. We should clear the other side of the building before we head downstairs.
Rooms 11-14 have not been check..I think
Siondel Greensinger
"That's sound tactical thinking. But do we consider this whole town a hostile combat zone, or just this inn? At least some of the folks here seemed on the up and up."
