Well, unless it's purposefully masked, a magic trap has an aura on it. You would see the change in the aura of the object. Although, to be fair I never made my K(arcana) to identify the aura, although Avoreal did. A trap might have a Magic Aura or Nondetection cast on it, though. I'll go ahead and roll a K(arcana)
K(arcana): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16
So retcon what I said. I can't make sense of the auras anyways

it is certainly masked considering the module. The only way to find the trap is via perception so i dont think he knows...you do not have the required spell to do a straight counter spell either.
So...
Lithuan is unsure if the trap is disabled.

Duhwoo enters first on his horse, he sees the purple key light directly in front of him, but it immediately zooms 40 feet away, and into a lecture hall

On his horse, Duhwoo approaches the classroom door, as noted on the tactical display, while pulling some food out of his rations. Then, pulling out his wand of Summon Monster II, Duhwoo will bring forth 1d3 poodles 30' into the room.

On round 3, he'll toss the food onto the stage, near the globe:

Completely forgetting about danger, Duhwoo dismounts and tries to grab the pooch, to carry it to the stage and put it's nose on the food. But Duhwoo is blinking, of course, so he can't actually grab it! The spell expires, and the dog disappears from the hillbilly's hands before he actually gets it to the stage. Now frustrated, Duhwoo proceeds over to the globe -- but before he grabs or otherwise touches it, he will examine it closely, with his face about 6 inches away...
"whut kinda pesky trap has you gots on you, anywho?"

Sorry.. Yall post all night while im sleeping so..
Avoreal will touch Vars on the shoulder twice granting him a +4 to wisdom for 6 rounds and a +4 to con for 5 rounds.... Should bump your will and fort by +1 apiece.. Sorry i couldnt do more i forgot my +6 abiliity is self only.. As Vars reaches for the globe Avoreal will turn her back to the globe. She then closes her eyes and plugs her ears..

Nothing happens to either of you... however, you do have to move in roundsin this room, and each round you have to make a save. I will tell you OOC that the DC changes each round, I am placing all of you just inside the door representing that you made that save when you stepped through the doorway
