Brand thinks a moment, "Two quick um questions do we ah break this guy's curse? And err how do um I ya know die? That would be ah really handy to know."
We view time as it goes, we cannot see into the future...a. We will talk further about the curse inside, stopping it is in everyone's best interest She tilts her head, staring directly at Narine, but she doesn't say anything. She turns looking back at the group
Walking through the gate you enter long wood and rope bridges connecting floating stone spires and forest like islands. Far below you, almost an immeasurable distance you see what seems like a cavern floor.
Large buildings of white stone and built upon the floating spaces. THe woman leads you through the area, you others similar to her, other humanoids: everything from humans to the beast men Skinwalkers.
She leads you to a small cathedral, inside it is dimly lit with a violet light, a large pool of magical energy in the center of the room.
Now i will grant the right for this man's curse to be lifted, though in return a favor is required

Brand seems elated. "Whoa!" He moves trying to get the best views and talks at the strange sights. "You are err the ah poet Thunderhead I hope you um ah are writing."
Once they enter the cathedral and Aria makes her proposal Brand speaks,"Great. Ah those er terms are agreeable you um have granted the right to lift the curse, ah thank you um we will owe er you a favor. We can return um pretty swiftly er I mean it took us only a few um days to arrive."
No, you see what i'm trying to explain is i can't actually help you yet, which is why this favor is needed... A few days ago a something was stolen, a book. Said book contains both the rituals and also contains the magic power necessary to control certain things within the city, we need it back in order to lift the curse.
Maria gazes at the breathtaking scenery while the others talk. She peers over the side down to the earth as much as she can. Kicks a rock over to watch it.
Precisely, Unfortunately we have little to no clue who took it though i can put you in a direction however she leads you to a door at the end of a small staircase going downward. This leads into the catacombs, the door is normally kept locked, on the day of the robbery it was found unlocked. Getting through them normally is no problem, however the power of the book is being used to keep those who pledge themselves out...we need outsiders to help.. we have no clue what is down there as of this moment
you all walk down the stairs through the large wooden door, entering a tunnel of hewn stone. small open spaces line the walls large enough to lay a person on. the tunnel is long and dark with the exception of a few lit torches every so often. the air smells bad, though not of death surprsingly. it's silent, eerily so.
anything anyone wishes to do so far, checks or the like?
Though you see no traps in the distance of the hallway you see 3 fatty blobs of flesh barely making a humanoid form
Baylin:
you look at her, her eye's are looking downward as if in thought she seems less confident and more awkward since coming here. she's been surprisingly quiet lately.
She's not really paying much attention, lost in thought
Damage:1d4 ⇒ 2 Crit damage1:1d4 ⇒ 2 Crit damage2:1d4 ⇒ 2 Sneak Attack?:1d6 ⇒ 3They should be flatfooted but they might not have discernible anatomy. A goblin can hope.
You attacks combine manage to down one of the Fleshy monsters, beating it into what seems to be a pile of goo. The monsters charge toward Maria and Brand. Both connect with rather weak hits they hit for 1 point of damage each.....
UGH! Piss off. Maria swings her fist as if to cup check the blobbo in front of her, she herself is several inches from contact, but a rail thin stone pillar ejects from the wall.
SO i've realized i've made a few mistakes like mixing this game up with my other...apologies i meant knowledge arcana earlier and the lemures are actually immune to fire....can't change it now but i screwed up apologies...been a tiny bit busy of late, making a few too many mistakes.
I think they are called Lemures, when you mortals die you become one with the energy of the planet. with a little training some mages can, take that energy and manipulate it into something...it's a vile form of magic, twists the soul until it becomes something horrible
...One more time. Maria repeats her first gesture, directing the now serrated blade-like blast at the lemure, hoping the thinner rocks are enough to miss her ally. Now dealing slashing damage for the giggles.
Stone Edge:1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 4 = 19Minus 4 for soft cover from Baylin.
Maria managaes' to splatter the blob like monster over the walls, leaving hte hall now empty and barren minus you all and the guts on the wall. doth thou proceedeth?
