Are you talking the Spell 2 from the trader or from the deck upgrades Celeste? I think Enora wants the Spell 2 from the trader. Hopefully, they'll have time to post tonight for sure.
I am taking the Spell 2 from the deck upgrade.
Enora may have the Spell 2 from the trader. (Unless enora decides not to, in which case, I can take it.)

I'm not sure Enora mentioned they'll be out of town until late Saturday night. So just a heads up.

Re: retcon
Ultimately it's up to you guys; I'm not actually a judge of this game, and you are the ones playing for credit. But I prefer to only retcon if an action or a turn was misplayed, in the sense that a rule was forgotten or broken. It's true that if we were playing face to face someone could jump in and say something before another player completes an action, which we mostly can't do in this format. But it still feels shady to say that you would have done something different after seeing the result of the roll. One of the core elements of the game is that choices matter and have consequences, and I don't want to undermine that.
One advantage we do have in this format is that you can take your time on your turn. Re-read the scenario and location powers, look up an FAQ for a card if you're not sure, calculate the odds as much as you want - nobody will even know until you make your post. :)

Oloch - Gimry |

I do agree with Elinnea a little here. Missing the close sucks, but it's ultimately Celestes roll. Unfortunately, face to face we could have played the cards or in my case displayed a weapons/blessing on the check to make it an auto, but Celeste took his turn and literally rolled the die. Celeste gambled on a 3 or better on a d8 and missed.
Honestly, IMHO, if you're going to argue a retcon, arguing that I displayed a weapon would make more sense because it doesn't involve rolling another die and a single weapon would make the check an auto. And that argument I would buy because face to face I would have displayed it guaranteed. My bonuses don't get used enough as is :) Playing a blessing post check is a harder sell for me.

Oloch - Gimry |

We're setup to corner the Villain, do we want to do that or just continue looting?
I would need help to get through the Wis/Cha check safely (1d8+1+1 for a 6), but the Combat 16 (1d12+2+2d6+1+1d4+1) shouldn't be a problem.
I could also just cycle my hand and hope for more weapons/Blessings to help someone else.
I have Divine Favor in hand, to temp close the Peasant Tombs. I could also use the Divine Favor on either Aric(+1d4) or myself(+1d4+1) against the Villain if we went that route.

Aric? Is that you??? |

I used Oloch's Divine Favor as I screwed up in using Enora's Bestiary of Garund, sadly. Sorry.

Aric? Is that you??? |

Oloch, I'll plan on handing off my Blessing of the Ancients to you on my next turn if you're still shy a Divine card.

Oloch - Gimry |

Should we set up for the Villain at this point?
Without help, my two checks would be:
1d8+2 for the 6
2d12+2d6+2 for the 16.
I'm thinking at this point if Enora or Celeste can't take the Villain, I just go ahead and give it a shot and you can use the Ancients yourself. If you think you have better odds on the Villain, I'll just chill here.

Aric? Is that you??? |

New baby was born 3 days ago. Mum and new peanut are both doing well. Sleep is coming sparingly; I do appreciate all y'alls patience. I'll get to posts, but I'll simply be slower about it.
Thanks!

Aric? Is that you??? |

Celeste’s player (Ira Kroll) disappeared from another ACG table that I’m at for the current GameDay. I’m not sure, but we might be Waiting for Godot (Guffman) here.

BR Elinnea |

Here's the word: we could either restart the scenario, or treat it as if Celeste had died and complete it with the remaining characters. You're pretty far along so I'd recommend the second option.
That's assuming the rest of you still want to complete it. Is everyone else still here? We slowed down quite a lot, but I believe we could still pick the momentum back up.

Oloch - Gimry |

I am still here, I'm fine with just continuing on because I think we can win this turn.
I know Esilbedesh in on board as well.

BR Elinnea |

Acquired cards:
Alchemist's Suit (Armor 2)
Mistmail (Armor 2)
Shield Cloak (Armor 1)
Crocodile Skin Madu (Armor B)
Blessing of Wadjet (Blessing B)
Blessing of the Ancients (Blessing C)
Alchemist's Kit (Item B)
Deathgrip (Spell 2)
Explorer's Staff (Weapon C)
You don't get any feat from the tier advancement, but you each do get a card feat for completing the adventure.
Also a discount at the Ghoul Market for Armor trading. (Isn't that a lovely thought?)

Aric? Is that you??? |

Aric will take an Armor 2 upgrade and an armor card feat. Not rolling because there are only two of the 3 of us who can use armor and there are two Armor 2 upgrades.
Do we get a die bump?

Oloch - Gimry |

I'm taking Blessing as my deck and card upgrade.
Taking the Blessing of Gorum as my upgrade.

Enora - Eslibedesh |

I will take the Spell 2 as the card upgrade
I'll go ahead and grab a spell card feat as well.

BR Elinnea |

4-2E: Dark Nuptials
Aric: Card feat (Armor), Deck upgrade (Armor 2), die bump
Enora: Card feat (Spell), Deck upgrade (Spell 2), die bump
Oloch: Card feat (Blessing), Deck upgrade (Blessing B), die bump
If Ira kroll/Celeste comes back and sees this message, I would give you credit for the scenario as well, since we only skipped your turn once before it was completed. Please send me a PM.
For everyone else: Since I can't actually see the reported sessions, could one of you let me know which was the last scenario I reported for you? I suspect it might have been the last scenario of adventure 1. I'll get chronicles made up for this adventure as well.
Would you like to continue on to Adventure 3? I always like to check in at the end of an adventure, even if we were just having this discussion not long ago.

Oloch - Gimry |

The only Chronicle I have for Oloch is the one from the end of AD 1. I don't have one for the 1-off scenario, or anything from AD 2.
I'm good for continuing.

Enora - Eslibedesh |

I am willing to continue, but just as a warning, I have just about a month left. I will have to stop mid-may but I'm down for going on.

BR Elinnea |

Ok, we can go ahead and we'll see how far we get in that time. I'll get the next adventure/scenario set up this evening.
I know I need to make the chronicle, but I was asking about how many scenarios I reported to Paizo, which you can see if you go to My Organized Play and look for this ACG character. I'm not reporting them for myself so I can't see them.

Oloch - Gimry |

If it's OK with everyone else, I could bot Enora's turns for the time they're out. Once they gets through this summer, they'll have plenty of time to pick up and continue on.

BR Elinnea |

Oops, looks like I was further behind in reporting than I thought. I'll get that taken care of this weekend.
I finally got the next adventure set up, with three players this time. For this adventure, you start removing Basic banes, and optionally removing Basic boons, when they're banished. Basic blessings do not get removed, though. It seems likely that I'm going to forget to do this sometimes, and you need to make a decision for the boons when they come up, so if you can be explicit in your posts when a card needs to be banished or removed from the game, that would help. Among the four of us, hopefully we can remember to do it correctly.
You still have the same traders and discounts from before, so let me know what you'd like to do for this first scenario. (It feels like it's been ages since we did traders. Remember that they only offer the current scenario AD# or one below, and you have to swap out cards of the same AD# as the card you're trading for, or one below.)
Lastly you also still have all the loot unlocks from previous scenarios. I'm not sure what Celeste was using, but if you need me to list out everything you've earned so far I can do that.

Oloch - Gimry |

Given the Adventure path we're in, I think leaving Remove Curse IN the box would be the correct call here. It's Arcane and Divine and it seems like someone gets cursed at least once a scenario.
I didn't even think about going through the closed location, I'll do that from now on.

Aric? Is that you??? |

It's come to my attention that our BR has not been seen or heard of on the Paizo boards for a few weeks now. As our group has dwindled to just two players (three characters), I think it's time to bow out gracefully.
It was fun. BR, I hope you're well.
Cheers,
Dink
