Adding my agreement that this has been a great and well-paced game...some people just do not get into the character or game...nothing to do with you GM..you are killing it (and hopefully not us!!)
I really like the mechanism for the zombies!! As big a pain in the a$$ that they are, you are correct in saying that they "feel" more like zombies!! Quick question...if I dipped my arrows in holy water, would they gain any special properties against the zombies? Just curious.
Since its less viscous than poison, I'll allow it for one piece of ammunition and would take an action to apply. Basically, trade an action for prof bonus on the holy water attack roll. Suppose that's fair. They have such low AC anyways tossing the flask normally likely to succeed.
Aha, yep, dang sorry guys...depending on how Bjorn's roll works out. If it makes you feel better you just waltzed right through 3 death chambers without even noticing the 3 huge razor sharp pendulum axes.
It just occurred to me it would be convenient to put the rewards posts in campaign info. I'll edit that in shortly, major pain to go back through the threads.
Meatgrinder PCs who started at level 1 have reached level 2. Non meatgrinders are just shy of it. GP accumulated so far per character is in the neighborhood of 40.
edit: .....and one more thing! Part of AL is something called DM quests that happen offscreen, sort of just something fun for DMs. Sometimes they have player rewards, but its usually just a DM reward. There is one that some may get though: if this is your first AL game ever, you get a free potion of healing. You can mark this as "Bounty Hunter DM Quest Reward" on your log.
edit2: please let me know if thats true for you, it affects the XP I get on my AL PC... ;P
I've also been neglecting downtime rewards. You guys have accumulated 15 downtime days (5 per mini adventure) so far. Reminder: the hatched velociraptor egg is capable of tricks and name recognition if you spend 20, so after one more mini run. ;D
F Ghostwise Halfling Druid 2 | AC 16 | HP 17/17 | Passive per: 15 | Init: +3
Awesome! This is my first AL adventure so I'll mark that down. Nella's keeping a close eye on those eggs. :)
I knew we probably weren't fully officially level 2 yet but I knew we were about to be and figured it wouldn't hurt to wild shape for purely RP purposes.
Also just a reminder all, if theres anything you are unhappy with mechanics wise you are free to rebuild your character between adventures until level 5.
Is it safe to say that map is in one of the Tabxi's pamphlets that Bhoors bought. Or even the map that the harbor master had. (do we have the harbor master's map?)
Sure, between those 2 things and wandering around for days you guys have that info. A harder to read version has been in slides since the beginning. Feel free to use it, I quite like it.
If you used the character builder before buying the PHB, even just messing around, you will need to make a totally new character on the characters page. Otherwise you only get access to Grappler and maybe one other.
edit: Also make sure to choose variant human, not regular human of course.
Hmm, I've never tried this before but I bet I could view your sheet without external hosting if I made a campaign on Beyond. Want to try and see what happens?
Nella, if you plan on continuing with Nella in AL, you might take a moment to track the dinosaurs you see in game on your log. These races will have quite the variety for choosing from with wild shape later.
Nella, good point about sources. Allosaurus, t-rex, and triceratops are at least in basic rules. The rest seem to be Volos though, so yeah you couldn't use those.
