Logan do you need more time?
No. I simply got enticed by the prospect of playing 5E (haven't played it yet) and in Middle Earth (love Tolkien) but the fact is that I really don't like PbP gaming and I don't want to join a game and then quickly quit.
Thanks for running this game Ashman (I see you are running several 5E games...so thanks for that). I will probably be following along as a lurker. Good luck everyone and have a great time!

Wizard it is, or using the terminology from Middle Earth, a magician. Wizard is a term reserved for the likes of Gandalf and Sarumon and their ilk. Sorcerer refers to evil users of magic, such as Sauron and the Witch King. The term 'magician' is used for those practitioners of the mystic arts who are mortal (but are descendants of Half-elven parents)...in this case, my character will be of the line of Gilmith, Daughter of Imrazôr, The Númenórean, Prince of Belfalas and the Elf-maid Mithrellas. Their union created the lineage of the princes of Dol Amroth.

I think I'll break out a character I made for a different LotR Pathfinder game and remake him for 5E. I have the Players handbook, though not at where I am staying. I have to go home tomorrow for it among other things.
The alias is Rogar Willdman, a two-handed focused Ranger. Let me see how this will work out and I'll get back here with an update. I'll need to tweak the background for the setting, but that's not an issue.
Of note, if anyone desires a very detailed source for all things Lord of the Rings, check out The Encyclopedia of Arda. I use this as well as the app they have for Tolkien's LotR world.

DM Ashman, are you allowing the variant racial traits for humans?
