XP from APs

I'm seeking clarification on a particular point. In the SFS Guild Guide, there is the following sentence.

For sanctioned Adventure Paths, full credit is 3 XP, 5 Reputation, and 5 Fame.

Perhaps this makes sense to everyone else, but does this mean to get the 3 XP the entire AP must be completed, or just one chapter? In my mind one chapter would make more sense, but I want to make sure I'm clear on this.

It is per book of the adventure path that you complete.

The reward for completing all three parts of one book is 3 XP, 5 fame and 5 rep. In other words, you gain one level worth of XP per book.
