I was playing in a campaign and our DM used the gestalt rules, but we had to stick to certain themes. I decided to be a Lore Master(Investigator/Bard focusing on knowledge skills and divination magic), but some other choices were Tactical Genius(Cavalier/Ranger focusing on team coordination and buffing allies), Pyromancer(Sorcerer/Alchemist focusing on bombs and fire magic), Eldrich Engineer(Wizard/Rogue focusing on handling mechanical devices and creating constructs), and Guardian Angel(Oracle/Cleric focusing on resurrection, healing, and protection magic). I think that these themes would make good standalone classes, but I'm not that good at designing classes, and could use some suggestions. If you can think of some more good themes, please post them here, and maybe we can make classes out of them.

I think the Lore Master should be a archanist style 6th level spellcaster with a spell list comprised mostly of divination spells, jack of all trades, inspiration, maybe even studied combat, minus studied strike, and favored enemy bonuses. The favored enemy bonuses might work like wizard school specializations. The class skills should be appraise, craft, diplomacy, Knowledge(all), linguistics, perception, perform, profession, sense motive, and use magic device. If you guys can come up with anything, it would be great.
