At the sake of sounding a bit 'vain', there are a few vanities I am interested in acquiring, but do not have the hardcopy to acquire them from.

What would it take to get them all in one place and usable as a resource for Pathfinder Society players?

Have the PFS Primer and Field Guide, but am drawing the line at paying 268$ for a copy of Seekers of Secrets on Amazon, for example. Really would prefer hard copy for personal reading.

Why not just get the PDF?

Because I have a v. hard time reading .pdf. ie, headache-inducing hard time.

Hmm. I thought I saw a copy in one of the stores here a few months ago.. wonder if it's still there?

Can you print them out from PDF form?

I think our German suppliers still have one, but shipping would probably negate any savings.

There is a website listing them all in case you want to see if buying the book is worth it: vanities

Shipping the book from Europe would still be cheaper then then $200+

There is a guy on eBay selling one for $55. He is using Best offer, so you maybe can save $10.

Printing the PDF and binding it would be the next best option.

If you want really fancy binding, you can go to a site like lulu.com to have it done. But, I would stick with comb binding from Kinko's myself. Don't forget the clear plastic covers.

Seeker of secrets has no vanities as far as I am aware, but is useful for the feats it has (Boon Companion for example) and all the ioun stones.

Thank you to everyone that has responded. Had not considered the possibility of using someone else to print out a .pdf, and yes, theoretically it would be cheaper than 2-300$

Tineke, would that be in English, or German? Because that sounds like it would be a neat sort of international thing!

Okay, that might be a help, but where are the vanities at?

I know I'm missing a bunch?

Our German fellows have the book in english. If they still have it.

At the moment there are vanities in the Pathfinder Society Primer and the Pathfinder Society Field Guide and the generic prestige awards found in both the Pathfinder Society Field Guide and the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

The Pathfinder Society Field Guide has 6 types of vanities.

Businesses
Followers
Memberships
Property
Wayfinder enhancements
Prestige Awards (faction specific)

The Pathfinder Society Primer has 5 types of vanities.

Businesses
Followers
Memberships
Property
Wayfinder enhancements

The Generic Prestige Awards in de Guide to organised play are the PP you pay for spellcasting.

Technically there are vanities in Ultimate Campaign as well, but that chapter is not legal I believe. Can't check properly now, on mobile.

Correct. The only things legal from Ultimate Campaign are traits (except corpse cannibal, hedge magician, natural-born leader, rich parents, and unblemished barrel) and retraining.

I know I print the pages I need at libraries (I have heard they are not as readily accessible in Europe) or at copy stores and read them on my computer. $25 or $15 pdf + under $1 printing is very cost effective.

Where are you looking on amazon that it costs 268$? I bought my copy there for less than 30$ after tax and shipping.

It's only $268 new right now on Amazon! (third-party used is cheaper, but not reasonable at the moment...)

Sounds like this is a solved problem, but when we were trying to wrap up our Pathfinder collection we camelcamelcameled the crap out of everything. Keep it in mind for your next out-of-print purchase. Prices are hugely variable for in-demand, out-of-print things--Pathfinder books and maps included. It helps to understand what the larger market looks like rather than just getting the snapshot of current prices.
