Off-Schedule Subscription Shipping Options Available Again!

For subscribers with subscriptions to our licensed product lines, we have brought back the ability to ship those subscriptions as soon as possible if they release off of the Paizo release schedule.
This currently includes: Pathfinder Comics, Tales, & Battles Miniatures (Legends, while licensed, is currently expected to continue releasing concurrently with the Paizo monthly release schedule).

If you have both monthly and off-schedule subscriptions, you can select what to do with any non-subscription items you put into your sidecart as well.

To access these features, visit your My Subscriptions page.

• The selection to ship licensed subscriptions as soon as possible is on a per subscription basis. Access this feature by scrolling to the list of your subscriptions at the bottom of the page and making the appropriate selection. Choose either: "Ship items from this subscription as they arrive in our warehouse." or "Ship items from this subscription once a month." We have defaulted to shipping with the monthly Paizo Subscription.
  
• The option to choose how items in your sidecart behave is called "Combined Shipping Options" and found just below Shipping Method for Subscriptions. You can choose to hold sidecarted items for the monthly shipment or the earliest possible subscription shipment. (The option to to ship available sidecart items immediately without waiting for any subscription is currently accessible from your My Account page)

While the concept of shipping off-schedule subscriptions is one we have done previously, bringing this feature back has resulted in new code. If you have any issues with your subscriptions, contact customer service as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.

While licensed products may release off-schedule from Paizo's monthly release, it is not always the case. Choosing the option to ship as soon as possible simply means that if a product is releasing outside of our release schedule we will ship it to you as soon as possible.

Our first license product to be shipping off of the Paizo monthly release will be the upcoming Comics volume Worldscape #1. Releasing in store October 19th. More information on the shipping updates for that will be coming soon!

Sara, will the system gather up everything in our sidecart that's ready to go each time a subscription shipment happens? Or is that only going to happen with the "proper" subscription spawn each month?

You have a choice now!

Apparently we defaulted it that way...

When we rolled the new code, the default for shipping "off schedule" subscription was set to ship as soon as possible instead of holding for monthly.

We have new set these subscriptions so that they are now defaulted to "hold for monthly" which is the behavior that the majority of subscribers historically chose and mirrors the behavior that subscribers are used to.

If you wish to ship your licensed subscriptions as soon as possible (when/if they are not shipping with the monthly shipment) you will want to visit your my subscription page and adjust your subscription options.
