Carnival of Tears question

Adventures

Last night, while playing "Carnival of Tears", my players asked me, "Hey, what's at CT18?"

"That's the Tent of Illusions."

"Ok, let's go there."

I flip fruitlessly around the module only to discover - there is no listing for CT18 beyond it's place on the carnival map. Oy.

If anyone has run this before, what did you do with the tent?

Flagging this post: Should be in the Modules forum.

Carnival of Tears is a very early Paizo product, and it pushes the boundaries of good taste quite a bit farther than they're willing to go these days. And, frankly, I'm glad they don't publish products that go to those extremes anymore.

I'd guess that the encounter itself had been written but got cut at the last minute (probably for space constraints), but the map markings didn't get removed. It's next to a tent marked, "Tent of Illusions," but there's no such encounter or area described in the module.

Also note that there's no encounter 16 or 17, either.

So... aside from dropping Nick Logue a line and asking him yourself, I think you're on your own to make up something appropriately sick and twisted.

I'm way late to the party, but thanks for the info here. I'm about to run this and noticed the undescribed CT18 also. I'm going to re-purpose the Carnival Contest for Gypsy Fate-Tweaker Madame Viscolla to be in this tent. Thanks.
