The society's history is already pretty well established as cannon in the 160 pages already dedicated to them in Seeker of Secrets, Pathfinder Society Field Guide, and Pathfinder Society Primer. Current notable members such as Eando Kline and several of the Masters have been stated out in PFS scenarios, and Adventure paths/modules/scenarios/fiction/comics can all act as how a dungeon looks prior to the society stripping it clean. Most of the adventures set in Golarion are set to 'happen' on date of publication + 2700 years or something... so they'd have to break that formula to go back in time.. not saying it can't happen (books like Lost Cities have swatches that go back like that, a later part of the current AP might 'go back' like that) but it tends to be rare.

I got thinking about this after reading what lies in dust part 3 of CoT. It also gave me an idea for a character using the separatist archetype. But the idea was just a generalized background of the society's history some stats of lodge's and some members the odd myth involving some historic members. Two adventures at the back detailing an old delve for 1 of the lodges mentioned I believe could generate an interest in possibly a book about orgs instead.

I would buy a book like this. I have the current PF books, but it is tricky determining the true history of PFS from multiple sources.
Kobold Quarterly had a two page write up on the continuity of the Shadow Lodge in one issue. Something along those lines for the factions and decemvirate would be most welcome.

In general, the books we publish are set in the present day of the campaign setting. While history can be fun for a GM or player to read, very little of such a book would help GMs run adventures set in 4716 AR. Believe me, I'm as much a sucker for in-world history as anyone, but ultimately, we're not publishing history books, we're making game supplements. As interesting as a detailed timeline and statistics of historical figures would be, neither serves the game as well as a book about the current state of the world.
Were we to do a large hardcover Pathfinder Society book, I imagine it would contain an expanded overview of the organization's history, but would primarily provide information for players and GMs on current members, operations in variously lodges in the present day, and rules and sample NPCs that players and GMs could use in modern Golarion campaigns.
The last thing we want to do is dedicate a lot of valuable page space to information that most players are never going to be able to learn in-character simply because it's too dense of continuity for GMs to integrate it into their modern stories.

To go with what Mark and I stated though, feel free to preuse and update the wiki page, we strive to compile the data from as many books as possible, but can always use new editors.
