Second printing availability?

My partner and I are having trouble finding cards for Fortress of the Stone Giants that matches our base set and adventures 1-3. We've made a couple of purchases through Amazon and have sent them both back because the cards were a different size and colour. I thought that ordering here instead might guarantee against this problem (even though it's quite a lot more expensive), but your product listing also doesn't include any information on which printing we would get.

Was there even a second printing for Adventure 4? I'm beginning to feel like we are chasing something that doesn't exist!

Hi there,

Thanks for your question! The printings that we have should all be 2nd edition by this point. I don't believe we're sending out any more 1st printing copies of Rise of the Runelords. As for Amazon, it's possible that they had an older box of decks and just opened it up now for some reason. They get their stock through our distribution system, but it's possible that they ordered their stock in large quantities a long time ago and still have some 1st printings.

But the good news is: second printings of deck 4 DO exist! We've got plenty of them, so if you do order through Paizo, that should be the one you receive. Just to make sure there's no misunderstanding though, the 2nd printings are the boxes that say Printed in the USA on them. The sets that are printed in China were the first printings. If you double-check that you've got the US versions, then you should be able to get those from us. (This information should be listed on the back of the box, usually in small print near the bottom.)

Yep, should be the same story for all of the Rise of the Runelords decks. We should only be sending out 2nd printings of that whole set now. :)
