Wildshape Druids, Wild Armor, and Stoneplate / Dragonhide Full Plate: Worthwhile to use together?

Advice

Self-explanatory question.

I'm debating on whether I should use Heavy Armor as a Druid, and if it's something I should be utilizing during Wildshaping (especially given the recent FAQ).

If I were a Dwarf, there'd be no questioning it, since I wouldn't lose any more movement from it, but I'm a Vanara, which means if I use Heavy Armor (such as Stoneplate), then I'm going to run into problems for movement, as well as the ability to bypass basic trials such as traversing a cliff, crossing over a broken bridge, etc.

Being reduced to 20 movement can be a real drag, especially if I try to make myself into say, an Elemental or something, and I question whether the AC increase I'll get from using armor such as that would be worthwhile in comparison to the speed loss. This table that I'm at has banned the Haste spell, meaning I won't be able to really shore up the missing movement that well. (I'm also unsure as to how you calculate movement lost from armor.)

Granted, having both a Natural Armor bonus and an actual Armor bonus can be nice, especially if I'm planning to wade into combat along with my Summons, but I question the general scheme of things and how they'll play along.
