Blessing of Baphomet - Forced Explore?

The wording suggests that you must use it to explore. Is it supposed to be "you may discard.."? I could see this being intended to work either way.

No, you are not forced to explore. It is saying that you may only use the explore power if the top card of the blessings discard pile is Corrupted. If the top card is not Corrupted, you cannot use that blessing to explore again (although you can still discard it to add dice to checks).

It's an optional power, just like allies simply say "Discard to explorer", and every other blessing does, this one just has a requirement that needs to be met before you can use the power.

Thanks, after reading how the others are worded I see the reasoning. I should have compared it to them first.
