Sensei monk mystic wisdom use

Rules Questions

Sensei monk's Mystic Wisdom ability says "At 6th level, a sensei may use his advice ability when spending points from his ki pool to activate a class ability (using the normal actions required for each) in order to have that ability affect one ally within 30 feet rather than the sensei himself."

So how does this work exactly? Do I need to spend a round of advice along with the ki point(s)? Does it use up the action required by the ki use AND the "start bardic performance" action (standard at 1st, move at 7th)?

It's... not really clear, so ask your GM. I would say that it merely requires that you be performing while you use it. It's certainly a much less useful ability if you have to stop Inspiring to use it.

Anyone have arguments for specific interpretations? This would be for PFS. I know I'm not the first to play a PFS Sensei. Thanks!
