Most powerful socerer bloodlines in an ancient world.

Homebrew and House Rules

Hey I'm currently building a campaign setting in a prehistoric time period. The society will be ruled over by sorcerers in their various clans. Assuming everything else is equal what which three bloodlines would you assume would rise to power in a copper/stone age civilization?

You could honestly make a case for almost any of them.

That said, to me the three that jump to mind are Draconic, Abyssal, and Celestial.

Draconic has a lot of personal offensive and defensive prowess. In a society of might makes right, that matters.

Celestial and Abyssal specialize in minion-summoning, and Celestial has the ability to heal comrades (which could become prized in its own right) while Abyssal represents personal power almost as well as Draconic does.

Those three also hit a lot of different flavors to me too, though that's a YMMV thing.

Scarab Sages

How about Destined? As in, Destined to rule a kingdom, or even better, Destined to set the whole course of history for your world.

Elemental, Fey, Aberrant, and conceivably even Nanite would all be good as legacies of the mysterious pre-phrehistory of your world.
