Rangers, Paladins, Cavaliers, and even certain archetypes like a Barbarian Mounted Fury all get animal companion/mounts. However, if you are playing one of the many Pathfinder Society classes that don't get an animal companion or mount, but you really REALLY want one for your character, how do you go about getting one?
For example, if you want the many extra Feats of a Fighter because you want to make a decent archer character, the only way I know to give the character a mount is to take the Nature Soul and then Animal Ally Feats.
Is this correct, or is there another way to give a Rogue, Bard, straight Fighter, or any otherwise animal companion/mount-less character a animal companion or mount?

Archives of Nethys indicates that many of these are PFS-legal, so you could buy something to ride and use the Handle Animal skill. Plus many of them come pre-trained.
If you mean the class feature, off the top of my head you're correct about the feats being the only way, since mounted archetypes like the dragoon and the sohei don't actually grant a mount in the way cavalier or paladin do, and no fighter archetype I saw grants a companion.

Multiclassing into Cavalier 4 and taking the Horse Master feat works better than Animal Ally, but it requires multiclassing.
