I wish X were legal...

If you couldn't guess, we'll post things that we wish were legal in society play.

I wish that the Vampiric Bloodline from Kobold press was legal. I rather like the bloodline and think it has an interesting angle to it. My only question is why can't they just give you the vampire template at 20. You've already got everything else, games practically over at 20th, how much stronger is vampire going to make you?

I wish the Nanite Bloodline in People of the River were legal. I love this bloodline, and it's about the only thing that could get me to play a sorcerer or eldritich heritage.

Dust Knuckles, the poison use class feature is useless enough as it is in PFS, it would be nice to have some more options for ninjas and alchemists to deliver poisons.

Drow alternative racial traits, it would be nice to be able to have the option of playing an elf with darkvision even with the drawbacks.

GM to have full control over ea encounter. No set tactics to follow.

Grand Lodge

Drow (the base ones, nobles should not be legal)

Evil PC (because some concepts are not as good when they are good)

Summoner (more specifically, the thousand and 1 archetypes that are banned)

Liberty's Edge 5/5

I wish breaking of DRM for otherwise-legal purposes were legal... but that of course has nothing to do with PFS.

In PFS, I wish that Scribe Scroll was a legal feat and my wizards could scribe scrolls for half cost!

Combined with the ability to give your AC skirmisher tricks, that archetype is incredibly broken. I had one in my Dragon's Demand for one session because a player's character died in the second to last session, and the AC wrecked absolutely everything that was sent its way.

I wish you could get cannons. I know this is both silly and impractical, but for some reason the idea of a small crew of dedicated pathfinders wheeling a cannon into a dungeon with an adamantine cannonball and some grapeshot.

Hex Channeler, mainly because combined with the Hedge Witch Archetype I'd have the perfect arcane healer.

4/5

Playable siege engines would be fun though it would be awkward when my character decides to disassemble then reassemble her catapult because she absolutely refuses to enter caves or sewers without it.

Also add me to list of people who would like to see more playable races. I really consider the way that limited access to races is handled to be one of the less pleasant aspects of organized play.

I said it was impractical. Though get a bunch of dwarven miners, do not disassemble cannon. Disassemble the dungeon! A delving team running of ale, rage, and gunpowder!

Also, I second Hex Channeler.

Grand Lodge 1/5

Kobold Style feat chain. Also, add my vote for Hex Channeler as well.

Scarab Sages

The problem with Hex Channeler is that you can take extra hex multiple times to have a insane amount of extra channel dice. I wish the archetype had been better written.

And much like the early entry into the Evangelist PrC, it can be house ruled that you cannot do that in PFS.

I understand why it's illegal. This is a fantasy thread. No need to tell me I'm wrong (roundabout as the claim was).

I'd be in it mostly for the large / huge bear, As for a long time, I've wanted to have a Grizzly / Dire bear AC.

Is it even that much of a problem? If a player went for pure max damage with channelling this would mean no channelling feats, no hexs and probably terrible spellcasting since the player would likely pick charisma over intelligence. In other words useless a large part of the time. At level 10 the channel would probably be about as powerful a fireball cast by a wizard/sorcerer. I'd be more than happy to allow the massive damage or healing to a character build that is terrible for the most part.

4/5

I think it is that, and you can channel via your little familiar buddy.

Scarred Witch Doctor, Goblins(and associated material), Blood Summoner, the obedience for Lamashtu(though changed to be more friendly)

1 That's awesome

2 A level 3 witch can already do remote healing by having her familiar deliver healing hexes without prior touch

3 Considering the consequences of a witch losing her familiar I'd be very surprised to see this tactic used much as it would make the familiar a fairly likely target

I suppose I'm also joining the list of people who would like to see the Hex Channeller legal.

I want to play as a Tarrasque.
I wish selfish players would stop telling me it's badwrongfun and reining in my play style by not letting me play a Tarrasque.
Stormwind fallacy guys, okay? Just because my Tarrasque Barbarian is powerful, doesn't mean I can't roleplay!
My Tarrasque Barbarian has a complex and deep backstory that I typed up in size 12 Times New Roman. His parents died to bandits and now he wants to see the world.
Yes, even with my Belt of the Weasel, my Tarrasque Barbarian takes up the entire corridor. But if you had beaten my initiative you could have moved past me. Don't blame me for your poor tactics, okay?
Get over your prejudices and embrace Tarrasque adventurers in Society play.

Can't help you with Cixyron, but Baphomet is legal from The Inner Sea World Guide and Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Gods.

Dirty Trick Master, c'mon you don't get this till level 11.

and most dirty trick archtypes in general.

I wish poisons weren't so limited.

and the gun archetypes; hell I'll even accept needing a level in gunslinger to take them because pathfinder school, but not letting people play steel hounds is just CRUEL.

Silver Crusade

Skinwalkers, Specifically Wereshark-Kin. Not legal, Just... more boons, I'm fully aware of their Charity boon status as of Gen Con 2014. Which greatly saddened me. As I was expecting them to be a kind of racial boon given out to GM's this year till next Gen Con. Like the Elemental Races. Heck they could make it even more awesome and just release the ability to play only one kind of Skinwalker. Like a Boon for Werebears or Weretigers.
I Had a build in mind along the Shark theme. A one strike tons of Damage kind of build where I'd add like bleed damage and eventually count my unarmed Strikes as B,P, AND S. Then Pummeling Strike came out and I was stoked, Sadly the same time the ACG came out I found out about the Charity thing.
I'll wait to see what happens in the next 2-3 years and give up hope of ever making one for society play.

assimar and tiefling alternate racial traits from blood of fiends/angels

there is so much to work with in there from both roleplay and a mechanical nature. even the flat +2 extra stat bonuses, while certainly powerful, i don't feel is brokenly so. I mean you're giving up a powerful 2nd lvl spell like ability (or a 3rd lvl for assimar) for one of these traits.

Boons to play small Aasimar and Tieflings - maybe even Non-human Aasimars/Tieflings. Wouldn't a boon to play a Dwarf Aasimar or a Tengu-Tiefling be cool?
