Gestalt Ranger

Advice

I am trying to build a character for a PBP game, starting level 2-4. The setting is designed to be high fantasy and we have been offered gestalt, not so much for optimization as flavor.

There is a race of nature themed dwarves that get the "fey touched" template (+4 dex and other goodies)

I was looking at being an archer ranger, with a gestalt side to help.

DRUID: Will save, full Animal companion, Full casting.
this is my favorite idea using the "Nature Fang" archtype to grab more feats and bonus damage. Plus an animal companion (and full casting just in case)
Not sure what compaonion to grab, maybe a mount.
RANGER ARCHTYPES: (that lose Animal companion)
GUIDE: Pretty solid in my favored terrain, trade FE for swift enemy
SPIRIT RANGER: cool but how useful is divinination?
DIVINE HUNTER: Blessings could be cool (Maybe earth and plant)

WARPRIEST: Havent looked to far into this but seems it could work.

INQUISITOR: coulddefinetly help with judgement/Bain

Please give mesome ideas:
Use a moint?
more bonus damage?
More versatility?

Zen Archer Monk - if you wanna get even better shooting stuff
Empyreal Sorcerer - Arcane Casting using Wis
Empyreal Sorcerer-> Arcane Archer - if allowed this gives you some casting and interesting Archery ability
Myrmidarch Magus - Ranged Spellstrike, though MAD
Luring Cavalier - Ranged Challenge moar damage
Pack Master Hunter - stack your Animal Companions

I would like to avoid arcane classes, though those are nice choices.

Luring cavalier is possible but i would like good will saves

When it comes to animal companions:
What animal is good
should i ride it?

A Zen Archer/Inquisitor is actually one of the best gestalt archer combinations. You get WIS for just about everything. Flurry of greater bane with multiple judgments going is insane.
