Our GM has been inactive due to reasons and unlikely to come back any time soon. The group is eager to keep going.
Here's a link to
gameplay, so you can get a feel of the group.
Our "Thunderfist" has just beat the simpleton muscle man in the scheduled duel.

I was thinking about running this anyway, so might as well jump into an existing group. I would need to purchase the books and familiarize myself with the part you have run first.
Can you give me a feel of posting frequency required? I strive to post approximately once a day, but real life sometimes interferes. If your group requires a very active GM I might not be the one you require. I normally finish what I start.
Are you hoping to receive PFS credit for this campaign?

Alternatively, if you are participating in the Skull & Shackles Adventure Path with an ongoing group
undertaking the entire, six-chapter campaign, you may receive credit for playing the sanctioned portions of the adventure as if you had played a pregenerated character.
In this case, GMs running the Adventure Path are not bound to the rules of the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign (such as 20-point buy, unavailability of hero points, etc.) when running the campaign or the
sanctioned portion of the adventure. Pathfinder Society characters and characters from an ongoing Adventure Path campaign may not play in the same adventure
So you can have your cake and eat it too!
I will go ahead and buy volume 1 and see where you are in the volume.

I am reading the first chapter now and have to get to grip with all the information in there and how you acted upon that before I post in gameplay.
Please tell me:
- What equipment did you retrieve and how? edit: seems like you have all your equipment back
- Did you earn / win any money? If yes: who, how much and how?
- Is it correct that you did not receive any XP yet / XP is handled by speed of story?
- Isaac is the rigger and Ranaak is the cook, right?
- Was anyone killed on the ship? (except for Jakes Magpie)?
- What is the expensive item Alabaster got?
And it seems as if your GM is playing Destiny ;-)
Sorry all, just got Destiny on the PS4 and went on a little bit of a gaming streak

-As far as equipment, i think i'm the one who didn't get his back.
-We didn't win any money, the greedy ones in charge would have taken it.
-It has not been announced.
-Yep
-Not yet :)
-A gun
Honestly, as a GM, I really feel that it's unfair like giving you a 1500gp item for free. However, in the flavour of your character and for the sake of story purposes I think it could be cool :)
However I do expect you to hold your promise and put aside the 2250gp you promised Grok. I would like you to choose a certain percentage that will be taken from all your earnings that you will put aside until you reach this amount, agreed?

I don't know what happened to the three maces nor do I know what happened to the coins. After looking back in the thread, I found this:
After having successfully stabilized Edward you spend the next few minutes searching the bilges for anything that might be of use.
Thirty minutes later you have managed to find a buckler, a masterwork handaxe, a tanglefoot bag, 21gp and 12sp in addition to the suit of leather armour and the two other maces that Alabaster found initially.
So, we have a buckler, mw handaxe, tanglefoot bag, and maces to account for. Plus we have 21gp and 12sp to divide if we haven't done that already.

I am reading your gameplay while getting to grips with the AP. I like what I see. Will do more reading today (after work).
How to proceed? Do you want me to pick up when I am ready (later this week) or do you want to do some investigation in my former PbP's whether you think I am fit for your group?
I read the discussion you are having regarding PFS credit. I will probably report the game and take credit for it, anybody that wants the chronicles will get them at the appropriate times and it won't influence the game in any way.
