Good luck finding the bolded in an item. Players would be screaming OP as soon as they saw that. I know I'd like it, since 11+level is the overall SR cap (it can go higher, but only 1 or 2 higher, and only against specific things).
SR on items are trash; the biggest waste of money ever. They're almost as big of a waste as the Monkey Lunge and Prone Shooter feats.
yeah, I was dealing with gaining it from a class and was wondering if there was anyway to go about getting my SR a bit higher since the BBEG is caster mc wizard pants, and thus will have a caster level probably above my level.

Unfortunately, SR doesn't stack with itself. Only the highest applies. Additionally, there is no such thing as adding a static bonus to your SR.
Honestly, SR scaling for items and the like needs a rework for it to be of any value. Static values never work unless they're designed for level 20 or can be combined with other values, and SR is no different.
You could try to UMD an amped-up scroll of this prior to the BBEG fight, making most of his spells fail against you, but it's nothing permanent, unfortunately.

that's actually only 1 greater than the SR I'm going to get. :P, I'm just annoyed since it will take several uses of a class resource, 3/7 and only net me 50% SR on spells with the same caster level as my level. Right now I'm level 3 with SR 6. PS, I'm probably inclined to think 50% is horrible because I'm used to XCOM chances.
