Attention Pathfinders:

For those of you who are interested, we will have free Pathfinder Society Play at Scotty's Brewhouse in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday, August 13, from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.

You may sign up at the events Warhorn HERE!

All games are first-come, first-served, based on sign-ups at Warhorn. Waitlisting will be available. As well, your reservation is good until start time - if you aren't there when the game starts, your seat will be given to the next player on the Waitlist (if there is one.)

I don't have every table scheduled yet, but as these slots fill up and I can find more GMs, I can open up more.

So, if you are a GM and want to run something that isn't on here, or if you are a player who is just dying to play a given scenario that isn't currently scheduled, post that.

And, just as a side note: we have very few tables available in the 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. slot.

Also, every player and GM at each table is expected to make a food and beverage purchase (after all, we are taking up tables that usually are turned frequently.)

Let me know if you all have questions!

I am looking forward to seeing you all at Scotty's!

You're welcome!

We've still got plenty of space for GMs, players, and maybe a few more tables!

Silver Crusade 2/5

Yes, thank you for getting this together! Already signed up.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

More scenarios added, including the 3-part Glories of the Past story arc from Season 4! Head on over to the Warhorn and sign up!

Myself and two of my friends are signed up. And one of my friends is actually signed up for an 8 a.m. and 12:30 slot.

Thanks Mark!

You are most welcome!

In the few years I have attended this event and played or GMed, it's been a GREAT time!!!

I expect no less this year!

Let's fill these tables! :)

5/5 RPG Superstar 2012 Top 4

I signed up to play #5-25 Vengeance at Sundered Crag (7-11) from 12:30 pm until 5:00 pm.
To contribute to the sundering I can bring Eldritch Knight 11, Healbot 8, Heavy Infantry 7, Calvary 7, or Red Dragon 7.

We went to the Arsenal last year (it’s a shame what happened with it), but this will be my first year at Scotty’s.

Looking forward to seeing what it is like.

Well, since Thursty is my favorite PFS author, I happily signed up for Assault on the Wound. I'm not a huge fan of mass combat, but I'll bring what armies I can to bear. ;)

Mark,

Do you know if Scotty’s is going to go to the extent of changing their menu again this year with the Pathfinder theme?

Hobbun:

I can only speak to the gaming side of the equation (scenarios, slots, etc.) If there is to be any sort of promotional stuff like that, that announcement would have to come from Scotty's or from Paizo, I assume. I can't speak to any of that since that's not in my area of responsibility.

Sorry I can't be more helpful in that regard (but the stuff that Paizo did last year was AMAZING!)

Shadow Lodge 4/5 *** Venture-Captain, Michigan—Mt. Pleasant

Ugh! Now I'm conflicted... We could have a table of all 5-stars if I jumped over to Vengeance at Sundered Crag with Steve Miller, Greg Hurst, and Tracy Windeknecht... Though that would mean the GM would definitely have to bring his A game...

There is no GM yet. Maybe Carlos would run it? :-D

Ok, thanks Mark.

As I said above, I haven't been to Scotty's yet, but I did read last year about Paizo partnering with Scotty's and their menu changing, so was hoping to see that again this year.

I tried!

What time does your bus get in?

Dark Archive 5/5

i would say somewhere about 11-12.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Ah, I thought maybe I could try to move it to a noon - 9 pm slot, but if you won't get in until 11-12, that's probably not going to work, either. And, as of now, I still don't have a GM, so...

Dark Archive 5/5

well, our leader said we could make the 1230 slots easy. so a noon slot should work. but we will see if someone wants to run it and play it. no module love anymore!! Thanks for the effort!

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Let me look into it - it would mean moving on of the late slots games to an earlier slot, and since I have people signed up, I don't know.

But, I'll look into it!

It's not all mass combat. I was sure to add some pain...

Mike Brock just posted in the GM schedule thread that GM badge pick-up will be from 3-5 pm on Wednesday, so that is one thing to keep in mind.

I signed up for 2-20 Wrath of the Accursed. I listed my Duelist/Lore Warden (level 9) on Warhorn because he looks like the best balance for the party, but I could also use this as the final adventure for my 11th level Bard. It would be an honor to finish his adventures with such esteemed company.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

There is no GM meeting that day, so it's just open hours from 3-5 to pick up your badge.

Pathfinders:

Here is a listing of the games available, by slot. I still have a couple of free tables that I have assigned no scenario to, but I am looking at other single-slot scenarios to put in them.

Most of the games below still need GMs, and though I know that 8 o'clock slot is early, we can still use a bunch of players. Of course, I know that Gen Con is still 6 weeks away, but getting people signed up would be great (and, for the record, we have lots of people registered for the event, but not signed up for any particular game.)

And with that:

Slot 1: 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
We Be Goblins
#26: Lost at Bitter End (7-11)
#3-16: The Midnight Mauler (3-7)
#4-22: Glories of the Past Part I: Halls of Dwarven Lore (5-9)
#5-08: The Confirmation (1-2)
#5-23: Cairn of Shadows (5-9)
Module: Fangwood Keep (3-5) (Beginning; concludes in slot 2)
Module: Masks of the Living God (2-4) (Beginning; concludes in slot 2)

Slot 2: 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Module: Risen from the Sands
#4-24: Glories of the Past Part II: The Price of Friendship (5-9)
#5-18: The Stranger Within (5-9)
#5-19: The Horn of Aroden (1-5)
#5-024: Assault on the Wound (3-7)
#5-25: Vengeance at Sundered Crag (7-11)
Module: Fangwood Keep (conclusion; begins in Slot 1)
Module: Masks of the Living God (2-4) (conclusion; begins in Slot 1)

Slot 3: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
#2-20: Wrath of the Accursed (7-11)
#4-25: Glories of the Past Part III: The Secrets Stones Keep (5-9)
#5-22: Scars of the Third Cursade (1-5)

I went to do this and looks like a GM was found. So I decided if it was going to be a 5-star table, I should join it as a player, DUH!!!

Let's bring the pain!

Well, Carlos, there ARE other tables that could use the services of your most excellent GM talents!

No pressure, just stating a fact. :-D

I'll think about it as we get closer to the date. Already running plenty of slots at gencon proper, so like I'm sure many others I'm looking for a chance to play too.

But I will never let a table NOT make because they lack a GM. I'll keep an eye out and switch if needed.

Shadow Lodge 4/5 *** Venture-Captain, Michigan—Mt. Pleasant

Boo... with Carlos joining that table I thought why not... but its already filled. :/ ah well. At least my VL will be in great company... :(

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Still looking for players for:

Slot 1 (8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Slot 2 (12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
Slot 4 (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. - running two modules during this slot.)

Pop on over to HERE! to register, check out the schedule, and sign up! Also, still looking for GMS!

Slot 3 (5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) has a single seat left, and in this slot, we only have three tables.

Thanks!

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Also, I added two scenarios:

8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: 4-26 The Waking Rune
12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.: 3-26 Portal of the Sacred Rune

And that, folks, fills all the tables I have available. Now, we just need to fill the seats! :)

So, the updated list of slots/scenarios:

Slot 1: 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
We Be Goblins
#26: Lost at Bitter End (7-11)
#3-16: The Midnight Mauler (3-7)
#4-22: Glories of the Past Part I: Halls of Dwarven Lore (5-9)
#4-26: The Waking Rune (7-11)
#5-08: The Confirmation (1-2)
#5-23: Cairn of Shadows (5-9)
Module: Fangwood Keep (3-5) (Beginning; concludes in slot 2)
Module: Masks of the Living God (2-4) (Beginning; concludes in slot 2)

Slot 2: 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Module: Risen from the Sands
#3-26: Portal of the Sacred Rune (7-11)
#4-24: Glories of the Past Part II: The Price of Friendship (5-9)
#5-18: The Stranger Within (5-9)
#5-19: The Horn of Aroden (1-5)
#5-24: Assault on the Wound (3-7)
#5-25: Vengeance at Sundered Crag (7-11)

#4-25: Glories of the Past Part III: The Secrets Stones Keep (5-9)
#5-22: Scars of the Third Cursade (1-5)

Meh. No big deal. Might be good to just hang out, too.

See you all there!

Liberty's Edge 4/5 RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16

Wish I could make it, but looks like I won't be getting in until late afternoon (due to driving kids to school in Memphis before driving straight to Indy.) So looks like I might be just in time to pick up my badge and get oriented to where I need to report for my 8am Thursday session.

Hope everyone has fun.

I am guessing Scotty's Brewhouse is just like any other restaurant (instead of a bar) in that I could bring my 10 year old son who would like to play as well. Could someone confirm this. If so, I have no problem running games to help with the GM session.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Keith:

Yep, Scotty's is family-friendly in that regard!

1/5

Yes, Scotty's is a Bar/Restaurant. Kids are not allowed in the Bar area but are welcome in the Restaurant. The Wednesday Pathfinder games, as far as I know, have always been played in the restaurant area. Some of the tables are high-tops so little-little ones might not be comfortable for a long sit. I've been going with my son since he was 12 and we've always had a blast...

Hope this helps!
Tom

Signed up to GM the Confirmation in the morning slot. Heard that one's pretty good.

Waitlisting to play Vengeance in the afternoon.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

I am contemplating (and no promises) of starting a second table of Vengeance if one of the other tables doesn't get people soon. :)

Stop contemplating and just do it. We need a 5-star table of Vengeance. :-)

Wouldn't it be better to sign up to play confirmation to give someone the opportunity to kill you with it?

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Alright - seeing there were three of you waitlisted, I dumped an empty scenario from the slot and added a second table of Vengeance at Sundered Crag. The second table is likely to only have four seats, however, but I might be able to adjust that later on.

So, Pathfinders Eshelman, Clingenpeel, and Baird, I have moved you to that 2nd table. :-)

Depending on how the attendance shakes out, I can be flexible about who sits at which table. :)

I'm signed up for the Assault on the Wound game.

Information found elsewhere on this site, pertinent to playing in 5-24 Assault on the Wound:
I think my characters have only gotten the Riftwardens Army chronicle sheet. I want to make sure that people playing know to bring such chronicles from ALL of their characters (not just the one playing) as another thread said this is necessary. I'm also curious if others playing have a bunch of them?

I didn't have many season 5 missions run around my area, and I don't want to screw over the party.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

Fortunately, the author of this scenario is on this particular thread, so I suppose if there something required, he could tell us. I understood from the blurb that it is advised, I didn't see that it was required.

I'm open for either. There wasn't anyone signed up for it, so I thought I'd put my name out there hoping to attract some players.

Any chance people want to tackle an old...but hopefully a goody.

Fury of the Fiend in the 5-9 time slot?

Oh, here's my chance for payback to Kyle. I'll sign up to run him. :)

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

There is no table available in the 5-9 time slot (at least, not in the tables that the venue made available to me.) We only have three tables during that slot, two of them are already waitlisted, and the third is going to be full at 4 players.

Scotty’s needs to get with the program. They should realize that PFS comes before business during Gen Con.
