I've heard of boons that allow for higher-than-40 Day Job check results...

could someone tell me what that chart looks like?

I'm actually adapting the downtime rules from UCam into Rise of the Runelords.

Spoiler:
My PCs bought the Glassworks in exchange for the giant helmet from Thistletop (that seemed fair). So, when my PCs try to generate cash with the Glassworks, I'm basically making it a Day Job check (dividing the result by 5 for the moment, because a triple-strength artisan's workshop plus artisans makes the bonus go sky-high). So, after DC 40, was there an 'extra chart' that pointed to the 'appropriate' GP reward?

The boon only goes up through DC 50:
DC 45 = 200 gp
DC 50 = 300 gp

If we look at the current progression...

DC = GP
05 = 1
10 = 5 (+4)
15 = 10 (+5)
20 = 20 (+10)
25 = 50 (+30)
30 = 75 (+25)
35 = 100 (+25)
40 = 150 (+50)
45 = 200 (+50)
50 = 300 (+100)

...we see that the last 5 increases are 25/25/50/50/100.

Although the chart doesn't exactly have a clear cut pattern, if your PCs end up going above 50, I'd probably suggest using this progression...

55 = 400 (+100)
60 = 600 (+200)
65 = 800 (+200)
70 = 1200 (+400)
75 = 1600 (+400)
and so on

...which sounds like a lot, but they're probably spending resources to get their Day Job that high anyways, and they're likely high level, so an extra grand won't really buy them much.

(the above are total houserule suggestions, of course)

no extra gold beyond 50 if you ask me lol

Thanks Nefreet!

I'm giving each PC two 'day job' checks with the Glassworks a session (and sandwiching a downtime event between), and then dividing whatever gold they earn by 5. 3 fully functioning workshops plus 3 gangs of artisans is like +42 on such a check.
