Arrow Recovery?

Is this allowed in PFS? I've heard almost nothing about it and I can't find it anywhere.

If you miss with a ranged attack that utilizes ammunition (arrows, bolts, shuriken, etc.) there is a 50% chance that your ammunition is recoverable.

It's no different in PFS.

can we assume if you have purchased durable arrows that unless there's something specific that doesn't allow you time to recover them, that you do? =D

Liberty's Edge

I always make sure I mention when I'm recovering my arrows, especially durable ones.

My archer took two world magic so he could arcane mark all his durable arrows - easier to find when they detect as magic

For arrows, it becomes tedious to deal with this once you get past 2nd level. A simpler method is just to agree with the GM that at the end of the mission, you get back half your arrows. If it's a special arrow, then obviously you'll roll it separate.

i just keep a tally of the arrows that i fire (hit and miss), unless theres a compelling reason to not recover them, i just say i recovered 50% of those that missed

Those are all fine methods for discussing with your GM.

I was simply providing what's written in the rules.

It is a good trait if you happen to own the book - it helps my wizard/sorcerers to have stabilize as a cantrip - or once someone to get open/close.

Actually my favorite use of the trait is to get prestidigitation.
