Agile weapon enhancement for monks

Rules Questions

A monk at my table is trying to flurry/two weapon fight (unarmed strikes) with an amulet of mighty fists (agile enhancement). Does the agile property make their second hand's attack do half dexterity damage?

You can't combine flurry and two weapon fighting.

Flurry isn't two weapon fighting.

If he's just using flurry of blows he gets his full dex to all attacks during the flurry.

If he's TWF then his off hand attacks do half dex damage.

I have no idea why a monk that can flurry of blows would TWF with unarmed strikes.

It would do full dexterity damage, I believe, because don't Monks deal full strength damage on a flurry?

In addition, monks need only to attack with one body part the entire time during a flurry. Yes, monks deal full STR damage with all attacks in a flurry of blows.

Agile weapons are unusually well balanced and responsive. A wielder with the Weapon Finesse feat can choose to apply her Dexterity modifier to damage rolls with the weapon in place of her Strength modifier. This modifier to damage is not increased for two-handed weapons, but is still reduced for off-hand weapons. The agile weapon enhancement can only be placed on melee weapons that are usable with the Weapon Finesse feat.

During a Flurry of Blows he gets full Dex to damage.

If he's TWFing his off-hand weapon only gets half Dex.

For Monks, off-hand Unarmed Strikes get full Str to damage, even if not made as part of a Flurry. So they'd still get full Dex to damage if you're using an Agile AoMF.

A Monk's offhand always does full STR damage if he is using an unarmed strike, so he would do full damage on TWF as well as full on his Flurry.

I thought that there was no 'offhand' for a monk's unarmed strikes at all?

I know, this might seem nitpicky, and it is looking at language that was written under the assumption that you would be using flurry rather than TWF, but it does say:

There is no such thing as an off-hand attack for a monk striking unarmed. A monk may thus apply his full Strength bonus on damage rolls for all his unarmed strikes.

The difference between 'never being offhand' and 'gets full strength bonus on offhand' is important because it affects power attack bonuses. If they are never truly offhand, that means that even a regular TWF build could use them for 50% more power attack damage on a full attack. That could really help keep some pace with twohanded weapon users.

Oh, also, fun fact about monks for the original question: According to -this FAQ-, the unarmed strike counts as the whole body for magical purposes, rather than 'one fist then the other'. This is because it would be hard to ever pinpoint WHICH body part you are hitting with, since unarmed strikes can be any of them (and getting 4 different castings of greater magical fang on you a day would be annoying). At the same time -another, beautifully short
FAQ-
says that it also counts as two weapons for TWF purposes.

Yes. The full strength to damage is not a part of Flurry of Blows but a part of his Unarmed Strike class feature.

Again, that is the question I bring up with that quote I posted above. That is the wording from their 'unarmed strike' ability, which has its own unique phrasing, and not their 'flurry of blows'. So...yes?

Okay, thanks! My bard/monk build is getting more interesting by the minute!
