I plan on using a Graven Guardian dedicated to Pharasma in an upcoming game and I was wondering what should be the animal of choice that the guardian should look like.
Or what it should look like in general for a Pharasma statue

Scarabs and whippoorwills are her sacred animals IIRC.

A giant statue of a whipporwill trying to kill you would be ridiculous. And therefore awesome.

According to her Tian-Xia entry her sacred animal is indeed the Whippoorwill.

Its appearance should depend on which of Pharasma’s domain powers you want to give it. If you want to give it Death and Repose (bleed and healing-resistant wounds), perhaps giving it the reaper-like appearance of a Vanth psychopomp would be appropriate. If you want to give it Healing and Knowledge, perhaps the empty-female-armor appearance of the Steward of the Skein. If you give it the Water domain and thus give it a swim speed, maybe the weird eyelike form of an akhana aeon.

I think im going to make it a Whipporwill headed golem like the one in the Bestiary just with a different head

I made mine the Weeping Angels types. Hooded female humanoids who constantly trickle tears for the dead. The tomb complex they guard is navigated by boat through canals of salt water. There were not only certain prayers to get you past certain ones but also church laws that could be invoked to gain entry to specific areas.
