Hello again people. I have to admit that my initial idea for a character revolved around an army sergeant, forcefully inducted into service after having commited a murder. It would revolve around an Urban Barbarian/Fighter multiclass to make him a "no nonsense" type of guy, not really attached to "higher principles" after all the good people he saw dying around him, because someone gave the order.

The thing is, after having looked at our group composition, it seems we are alrady packed full with fighters, and martial types. Arcane and Divine are also covered, so during the past days I have been pondering what I could bring to the table, that would add to the group dynamics and mechanics.

I think a "roguish" type of character might be a good option for that - an infiltrator, information gatherer type of character, that can be deadly in a scuffle. As it stands now, I am working on a couple of options, from a scimitar wielding bard/monk/fighter, to an Earthbreaker totting rogue/thug/scout kind of guy. There are a few obvious mechanical differences, since the first has Arcane Power to back him up, while the second is more roguelike (in spite of the unusual weapon) focusing on stacking debuffs on the bad guys.

The basic character state of mind would be the same though - brooding, morose, "gets the job done" kind of guy.

I hope to be finished soon ;)

Ok, so my character is done. The formatting on the background is not done, but it was written down as fast as I could [this is Edeldhur by the way :D].

I will finish up on the spoiler under the character name as requested, and also the breakdown of the character skills as soon as I have a moment.

I hope what I have so far qualifies me to participate ;)

Looks like you've got a full crew now? Are you still taking submissions?

Well, here's my stat rolls

4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 4) = 20 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 6) = 18 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 6) = 19 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6, 2) = 16 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 6) = 15 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 1) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 4) = 18 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 1, 5) = 17 = 16

17, 16, 16, 16, 14, 14.

Not bad at all. Calls for something particularly MAD I think. Monk? Cleric? What might be needed?

Welcome Hagrin!

Closed. Thanks for the interest!
