I have an admixture wizard. Casting a [cold] Burning Hands can make me extinguish a little fire?

The RAW answer:
Admixture states that "Any non-damaging effects remain unchanged unless the new energy type invalidates them."

It says nothing about adding non-damage effects, so the setting people on fire is thankfully invalidated, but nothing replaces it.
