Tier 12 Scenarios

What are the Tier 12 Scenarios that have been published?

Further, for a few years Paizo has said that eventually they will create occasional Scenarios -- for Conventions -- for retired Society PCs. What's the latest?

There are no more retired PCs, since you can continue to level past 12. Of course there's the Eyes of the Ten four part story arc which will get you 5 XP, hence to level 13.2. Last year's and this year's Specials are for Tier 1-15+, so you can get additional chronicles for your Seeker PC and level him to 14 and 14.1 once you've completed Eyes. And then you have sanctioned high level modules (Academy of Secrets, Tomb of the Iron Medusa, The Moonscar, The Witchwar Legacy) for 3 XP each and portions of some AP books which can be played like the sanctioned modules for another 3 XP.

That should be enough to keep your PC leveling to near 20, if you have a group of high level characters ready to do this.

Next question, you mentioned Modules and AP volumes Tier 12 and above; are there any Scenarios currently, or planned for publication, for Tier 12 and above? (in addition to "Eyes of Ten")

Further, how common are Tier 12+ Society events at large conventions, specifically PaizoCon? (Please exclude GenCon.)

Browsing, I noticed there were no Tier 12+ events at PaizoCon 2013. Is the demand for higher Tier events growing enough for Paizo to be able to include them at the larger Cons starting year?

The plan that I last heard was to not make Tier 12 scenarios, because you just can't run groups at that level in a limited time slot. Everything takes longer, and up until now there have not been enough PCs to make it worthwhile. NOw, there are modules which already exist, so it's probably still not worthwhile to spend the development time on stuff for 12+.

PaizoCon had the playtest of "Siege of the Diamond City", which was Tier 1-15. These special events only happen with multiple simultaneous tables. (Although I've run the various GenCon specials with as few as 5 tables... something a decent-sized gaming group can often muster locally.)

The two specials that have or will have a 12+ option are:

Year 4 - Race for the Rune Carved Key
Year 5 - Seige of Diamond City

Both were run/will be run at Gen Con and Paizo Con their respective years. I believe they were also available and some major cons thereafter as well.

I believe Mark hinted that there might be a new 12th level arc starting in the next year or so. If and when that happens they would also phase out eyes of the ten.

From what evidence I see on the boards and in my area, I believe there will be more demand for higher level play since the more "hard-core" players have 1 or more characters in the 12+ catergory.

At PaizoCon 2012 we had a different kind of special scenario, the Grand Convocation, that had a 12+ tier, but it cannot be run again anywhere. The GenCon Specials that kick off each season's metaplot can be run at local cons and even local game days so long as you meet a minimum number of tables playing together, usually five or so, and contact your local VC or VL, or barring one Mike Brock, to coordinate it in advance. As Natertot pointed out, only the GenCon Special interactive scenarios from 2012 and 2013 allow characters in the 12-15 range to play. The first two Special scenarios (in 2010 and 2011), Year of the Shadow Lodge and Blood Under Absalom, capped at level 11.

I cannot confirm or deny any future level 12 regular scenarios since I honestly have no idea if there are any planned. I wouldn't count on seeing any level 12+ scenarios other than the Specials anytime soon, which is one of the reasons the module and AP options for high level play were greatly expanded over the last year.
