Draconic / Primal Bloodline Arcana and Sneak Attack

Are the bonus damage per die from the bloodline arcanas added to the sneak attack dice or only the original spell dice?

For example: A Primal fire elemental Bloodline sorcerer, who also happens to have +2d6 sneak attack from levels in Rogue, shoots off a Scorching Ray at a flat-footed opponent within 30'. Is the damage 4d6+4 +2d6+2 from sneak, or 4d6+4 +2d6?

D20PFSRD: This ray deals 1d6 points of damage of your energy type + 1 for every two sorcerer levels you possess.

Since the bonus is to the ray dice, the sneak attack dice would not receive an additional bonus.

Oladon, I think you misunderstood his question.

He is asking if the bonus damage from his bloodline arcana would apply to sneak attack damage. Not if the +1 for every two sorcerer levels would apply.

Bloodline Arcana

Whenever you cast a spell with an energy descriptor that matches your elemental bloodline’s energy type, that spell deals +1 point of damage per die rolled.

This ability replaces the Elemental Bloodline Arcana.

It does say when you cast a Spell (uncertain if spell like powers would count for this) you do +1 point of damage for every damage dice you roll. Now does that apply to precision damage like sneak attack? Thats a damn good question and I'd love to hear others weigh in on it. As written it seems that example with scorching ray just might.

TL/DR: Do these bloodline arcana apply to sources of precision damage such as Sneak Attack's damage dice as well as the spells?

Ah sorry, yes. As the Ronin has clarified, I was referring to the Bloodline Arcana of either/both of Draconic and Primal (wildblooded Elemental) and whether the +1 damage per die gets added to the extra dice during a, for example, ray spell sneak attack.

So is the extra dice from the sneak attack considered part of the spell damage (and thus get the bonus) or are they something else and so unaffected by the arcana?

Ah, my bad, I did misread OP's question. If it's any excuse, I hadn't had lunch...

Seems to be like it would be a legit use of your abilities. Since the sneak attack dice added do electricity damage and they are dice rolled with the spell.

Granted this is a different edition than 3.5 but there was a similar thing that came up (what happens if you sneak attack with a vampiric touch? Do you get the temps from the sneak attack dice too?). The answer to that was yes(as per official FAQ) In both cases you are increasing the damage done by the spell.

No big deal Oladon!

If I was GM I'd rule it works. I mean if you are taking levels in rogue I doubt its going to be overpowered by any means.
