It appears that we have lost a player in my "Sounds of War" game so I am doing recruitment for a single replacement. The game is a modified mash-up of Kingmaker and Curse of the Crimson Throne using the E6 rules. Below are links to the game as well as a copy of the original character creation guidelines...

Discussion Thread
This campaign is heavily influenced by Kingmaker and Curse of the Crimson Throne; in fact at the core of the campaign is a Kingmaker/Curse of the Crimson Throne mash-up. It may borrow significantly from some other modules, adventure paths, and influences of my choice as well. This will be my first attempt at running a play by post game on Paizo (though I have experience with running other play by post games and I played a select few a long time ago on the Paizo boards).
The campaign will be set prior to the Swordlord's charter. The official name of the opening chapter is called “A Swordlord's Gambit”.
This will be an E6 campaign that will be using the Slow Progression Chart until Level 6. I will be accepting SIX characters that I find the most appealing for the game and campaign story.
I want to care about your character and I want the other players to care about your character. I want the world to care about your character. I want the characters to be able to work well together as a group. I am not looking for the “Lone Wolf”, the “Anti-Hero”, or the “Mercenary that is only out for himself”. Your character does not need to be a Lawful Good, happy-go-lucky, sickeningly sweet, how could someone be so good hero, but if they do not have any redeemable qualities or I don't think they will get along or be able to work in a group then I will not accept the character.
Character Creation
Level: 1
Alignment: Any non-evil
Ability Scores: Epic Fantasy (25-point Buy)
Traits: You get 2 traits. (Use Kingmaker traits as campaign traits. 1 campaign trait.)
Wealth: You start with the average gold for your class.
What non-Ruler posting(s) will you as a player be aiming for? For optimal player cooperation, aim for a listed role, and let the eventual “ruler” be chosen by the party for in-game reasons.
- The Councilor ensures that the will of the citizenry is represented. WIS or CHA

- The General commands the kingdom's armies and is a public hero. STR or CHA

- The Grand Diplomat oversees international relations. INT or CHA

- The High Priest guides the kingdom's religious growth and sees to spiritual needs. WIS or CHA

- The Magister guides a kingdom's higher learning and magical employment. INT or CHA

- The Marshal leads the kingdom's defenders and city guards. DEX or WIS

- The Royal Assassin can serve as a public executioner, a headsman, or a shadowy eradicator of kingdom rivals. STR or DEX

- The Spymaster observes the kingdom's underworld/criminal elements and spies on other kingdoms. DEX or INT

- The Treasurer organizes tax collection and manages the treasury. INT or WIS

- The Warden helps organize patrols and enforces justice in rural and wilderness regions. STR or CON
Table Rules
- Hero Points

- Critical Fumble/Hits: I own the Pathfinder GameMastery Critical Hit and Critical Fumble decks, and will be using them in game. Fumbles use implementation option #1 (if you roll a natural 1, you follow it with a confirmation roll at your highest attack bonus, if that misses, you will receive a random yet appropriate effect from the deck). Confirmed Critical Hits replace 1x of your critical multiplier with a random card. Regular rules for stacking multiple multipliers apply.

- E6

- Guns Everywhere

Though roles have not been chosen yet since the game has not gotten that far you can see from the question in the character creation guidelines that I am interested in having the "ducks in a row". We have the following characters and roles.
Antha Scapegrace - Half-elf Wizard (Grand Diplomat or Magister)
Arasmes Vors - Human Cleric (High Priest)
Teyran - Aasimar Paladin (General)
Erostil Vramir - Dhampir Bard (Councilor or Grand Diplomat)
Grendolynn - Hobgoblin Ranger (Warden)

The former character was a Human Gunslinger (Marshal). He was a dual-wielding Pistolero. He would be classified as the main damage output if builds are to be believed.
Grendolynn is a trapper archetype so I don't know how effective the character is with combat. Teyran is a "armored" character which means front line of defense. Arasmes is the healing support, Antha is an Illusionist which I am also not quite sure their effectiveness in combat, and well the Bard does what a bard does, support more.

Which races are allowed? I've noticed a hobgoblin in the party.
If a race is an official Paizo race that is listed on the d20 SRD then I can access it and allow it. However that being said any unusual races are going to begin recruitment with a handicap and will need a well-established background that ties them into Restov. Given the nature of the future "Kingdom" having a bunch of unusual races (atleast ones that aren't passably human or demi-human) is not recommended because as a DM I will not over look that when dealing with diplomacy issues.

If I may, I feel I might serve as Marshal, Councillor, perhaps even Warden or Assassin.
Yes, the form before you is that of a Goblin, but it is also a druid & as a druid, I can tell you the Green makes use of all of us, great & small...
Haven't selected an Animal Companion yet, but will likely go with Big Cat if that is alright with you. The Reincarnated Druid Archetype is rather key to the character concept, although I'm not certain how that will interact with E6 rules. Which to be honest is part of my interest.

Background
—————
Jonas Emeric of Issia knew little of his parents. His mother died of labor and his father had not spent much time at home as he fought before he died in battle while Jonas was still at a young age. All he knew was that he descended from the Garess clan. It was for this fact that he was taken into foster care beside his more prestigious distant cousins, Vlad, Athyra, and Tiassa Garess. It was through this that sparked Jonas' unreciprocated love for Athyra, but it was Tiassa that was mad about him, to the point of taking advantage of Jonas during one of his drunken stupors. When Athyra was announced to be married to Lord Breffean Medyved, Jonas challenged him to a duel, despite his inexperience and weakness. The battle resulted to a massive scar on Jonas' back, but the boy was allowed to live through the plea of Athyra. He was allowed to stay until he was well enough to travel back to Issia. On the night of his departure, he snuck up on the Medyved during his sleep and bludgeoned him on the neck with a sledge hammer, fueled by anger and rage. He left and never returned, for the agony of his shame, both from battle and love, were too excruciating. He spent his days after refining his skill, taking a maul as his weapon as defiance against Breffean. But more so, he learned to hide his anger with a smile.

I'm a little late, but I've been working on this guy. A gritty grungy horseless cavalier. His nature is a complex adoration/bitterness toward nobility and noble heroes... similar to Toshira Mifune's character in Seven Samurai was toward the samurai, but more subdued.
Fierce loyalty, sometimes given too easily, has led to disappointment in the past. He has a friendly demeanor... ribs the uppities most chances he gets, but knows when he has gone too far.
I suppose Marshall would make most sense for him. If councilor ends up being available I think he would do well with that.
(I see it is a possible choice of someone in game).
Finishing bio and cleaning up profile now, thanks for opportunity... I'm intrigued with the set-up, and like what I've read so far.

I can not decide between three of the characters. I kept the game smaller then I usually do because I didn't know what to expect with Paizo boards but I am feeling brazen and well-adjusted so I am going to take all three of the characters that I really like concept-wise.
All the characters submitted were great, and I really liked them all, but three concepts really stood out to me and started to get story flowing in my mind.
I will be taking the following characters into the game...
Thadeuzs 'Tad' Orlovsky as the Royal Assassin.
Valeska Talanova as the Marshal.
Morley Worgendale as the Councilor.
You three may head over to the Discussion thread so I can introduce you, and begin to weave your background into the story.
Thank you everyone who applied to the game.
