Silly Delay Poison question

Rules Questions

If someone is poisoned and then delay poison is cast on them, does the poison have no further effect if its duration wears off before the spell does, or after the 1 hour per level, do they have to continue to save from where they left off when the spell was cast? That is, if the poison's duration is less than one hour per caster level, does the spell effectively end the effects of the poison?

The subject becomes temporarily immune to poison. Any poison in its system or any poison to which it is exposed during the spell's duration does not affect the subject until the spell's duration has expired. Delay poison does not cure any damage that poison may have already done.

The poison is 'paused' while the spell is in effect -- you can cure damage already done, but after the spell wears off you still have the poison to deal with. Usually I use the time to get anti-toxin and a heal check to give me a big bonus on the save.

Normally I use it as a start of the day buff so that I can make all my saves at the end of the day with the biggest bonus I can possibly get so that I don't have to deal with the poisons at all.
