Well, we moved Karen's dog's vet appointment from tomorrow to today. I REALLY, REALLY hope that they can fix her dog. I would hate to put her "to sleep" after everything else that has occured to Karen lately. Plus, her dog is a good dog. I just do not want her to hurt anymore.
~sad sigh~ Karen's Dog has cancer and her lungs have fluid in them. The Vet gave us some pain meds and some meds to try to reduce the fluid buildup in the lungs. ~sighs again~ Sadly, it is only a matter of time. Damn It!

Sorry, Dragon.

Very sorry, Sharoth.

Sorry, Dragon.

I had to put Checkers the Ninja-Dog to sleep almost four years ago. Sadly it was one of the most gut-wrenching experience I ever had.

+1 and +2 when the time comes. :(

Well, I was read the riot act at work today and given my first reprimand. Needless to say, I will putting in resumes around the city in the four to five days. Time to give Circle K the big push off.

Thanks you all. I am more worried about Karen. This is her baby. ~sighs and shrugs` Thems the breaks.

Good luck with the job hunt, BP. And please take care of yourself.

Devious ideas are seeing birth as Shiny and I brainstorm and share thoughts on Star Wars: The Last Hope.

Sorry I've been MIA this week, been having a pretty good time with Mr Shiny, and works been busy as hell with termite season kicking in around here.

Glad to hear you and Shiny are having a good time. Hello Shiney!

I'm so sorry Sharoth. This is awful timing. Not that there's ever a good time to lose a part of the family, but when it's our four legged kids, it really hurts.

No way! My boys and their friends are doing the same thing today. They have just started Return of the King I think.

I just don't think I could sit through 12 hours of film...

Sorry to hear about Karen's dog Sharoth. It was much more emotional for me than I anticipated when we had to put our dog of 13 years down several years ago. I hope you both are alright.

Just finished Fellowship, Tomorrow morning Two towers followed by tomorrow afternoon by Return.

I think I could do three consecutive nights. After all, that is how its forebear, the Ring Cycle, is generally done.

You don't, well I don't anyway. I do it in stages. With breaks for food and fresh air. It's been in the upper 70's and lower 80's so I am all for clean air and sunshine. Plus my kids have not as of yet cleaned the guinea pig cage out... so I need fresh air.

Meh, after about an hour, one just feels dirty and has to do something more enlightened...

Sleep? Bah, sleep is for weaklings!

Insomnia can go f&@% itself. I have to get on an airplane in almost exactly 24 hours.

Today would have been my 3-year anniversary with my fiancee. Awesome.

+2. My oldest pup is ten this year, in a breed that doesn't see 13 usually. I am dreading that day.

Gar, I'm dying from the heat and humidity. I cannot sleep tonight...

Also, Good Morning to all my fellow FAWTLY Folk. It's a rather hydrated morning here in Philly, which makes for unpleasant driving.

BUT! The wife comes home today. HUZZAH!

Of course, I'm leaving for two weeks on Monday....
