M orc Paladin / 1

"Mayhap we name tha gorge Robbo's gorge in honor o our fallen comrade."

Caydee seconds that notion, face marked with sadness.

Male Human Cleric3

Oh Ambrose, we hardly knew thee.....

(I get the staff!)

Karrg looks over the edge and adds....

"Fall"

Same.

If I was acting this out, I'd have a hard time keeping a straight face.

Just recovered from the stomach flu in RL

Yeah, it's that season again. Glad you're feeling better :).

Karrg seems more interested in the words you are saying and that those words seem to mean so many different things.....

He also picks up Fubars old shield holding it on his arm, imitating Fubar occassionally even imitating how Azh or Caydee walk, upright rather than on all four appendages.....

Caydee, after whatever funeral service they hold for Robbo, tries her best to lead the way to their goal.

survival check 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

"I think we'll be teaching Karrg etiquette soon," she remarks to Ahz, smiling with a mix of amusement and affection at the yeti.

Male Human Cleric3

Maybe I should teach him how to ask a lady out. Ahz smiles and ducks the incoming snowball, punch or arrow that is doubtless flying in his direction.

If we are around to re-rolling survival checks, I'll take anotehr bash...
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

I need some new dice...

Caydee ignores the fact that her snowball missed. "What lady?"

M orc Paladin / 1

Fubar shows the yeti how to use the shield to scoop up a load of snow and dumps it on the distracted Caydee.....

Survival check ;)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Caydee yelps at the shower of cold snow and reflexively elbows whoever's standing behind her.

As Fubar and Karrg hoot and holler and make general nusances of themselves, and thinking that was a job well done...

Karrg slams Fubar on the back with a huge paw, Fubar face plants into a drift of snow....

Karrg looks at him and says...
"Fall"

M orc Paladin / 1

"No, no fall, push!"

Caydee pushes Fubar deeper into the snow drift with her foot.

M orc Paladin / 1

"No more push!"

Caydee laughs and turns her attention back to finding their path.

Male Human Cleric3

Snowball to the side of KDs face: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

errr....I obviously meant to toss that snowball into the gorge....

How does one do critical fumble snowball?

Well, normally I have critical fumbles instead do a normal or critical hit to ones friend or oneself. I would suggest slushball directly into Fubar's nose.

Since Fubar's nose is currently unavailable the snowball plants right into the crack of Fubars other end as he manages to re-gain his knees.

Male Human Cleric3

Ahz attempts to control himself but fails miserably, bursts into giggles and tries not to roll over the edge into the gorge.

Caydee fares worse on controlling herself than Fubar, breaking into gales of laughter and giving the cleric a congratulatory punch on the shoulder, which probably does nothing for his balance.

By the way, we are past the end of Fubar's turn - Caydee, you're up whenever you're ready!

Oh-! I'll head over to Obsidian Portal right away.
Uhm, first proclamation as DM, everyone can continue on along the gorge in the correct direction while the Cosmic Forces rearrange themselves.

Male Human Cleric3

I will continue to check if I think we're going in the right direction:
Survival - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

and toss the occasional slushball at Fubar, and Karrg after he understands its a game and that we dont do it to hurt each other -
snowball: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

You have minimal trouble in holding to the path, with the gorge as a landmark.

Did I do XP?
the total should have been 1700 for the centipedes.....

Yucale

Spoiler:

By my reconing we should be close to the mountains leading to the old tengu home, which should have evidence that they have ome claim to the old technology......

I also have Karrg learning faster now that he comprehends words each mean something different...

** spoiler omitted **

DM Post Ghost:
How close/in what direction is the yeti corpse? And do you have/can you make a map of some sort? My sense of direction is awful; even my intellectual sense of direction...

1700 each? so we're at 4600 xp each now?

Seems so.

Nice, good to level before the move. By the way, moving in 2 weeks - expect to be off the net for only a week or so, but you never know. Will be packing computer friday, March 25.

Well, hope you have a good trip. I'm assuming we can use any Pathfinder material from the APG or Core for leveling up? Wait- I'm the DM- that's yes. I'll level up later; I'm wasting enough writing time as it is.

M orc Paladin / 1

Fubar considers next level......

Level's HP: 1d10 ⇒ 10

Time passes without incident until the party reaches a weathering of the gorge's walls; it looks possibly accessible from where you stand.

Male Human Cleric3

Hm, so the question is...do we want to climb down there? Do we need to cross the gorge to get to where we think the body of Karrg's borther lies?

M orc Paladin / 1

"No way tah be sure exactly where tha body is I do not recall tha gorge at all....ow mah head is hurtin."

You are pretty sure that if you continue along the gorge and towards Camlin, you'll find the corpse.

Sorry:
Does anyone remember? Because honestly, I don't.

memory:

Page 9, about post 430 or so, is where it started. We were in the valley pursuing the Tengu who had the metal man on a giant tobaggin. As I recall.

I think I've got my bearings again...

survival 15:
You overshot the site by a bit, but you should come to it soon if you head south and a little bit east (you're heading east anyway- I think.)

M orc Paladin / 1

"Suren tha snow all looks tha same...."

Survival
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

"Yet somehow we seem tah be gettin closer."

Male Human Cleric3

Survival: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24

I agree with Frosty!

Krill, Vardara, you around somewhere?

Yep, still here. We're not lost are we?

M orc Paladin / 1

"Fear not, friend Krill, we are looking for the body of Karrg's brother, he fell in combat beneath my sword, I fear, an we must find his body so tha things may be set aright."

perception 17:
You hear the faint sound of howls from up ahead.

Male Human Cleric3

perception - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

Shhh...I hear....howling

Moving in the am. Off net for a week or so. Be back when I can!
