Ok I just kind of thought of this out of nowhere. If a Cavalier challenges a summoned creature or Eidolon do the in turn get their challenge bonuses against the Summoner (or person that summoned the creature)? And on the flip side of things, if a Cavalier challenges a Summoner (or Conjurer or whatever) does he get his challenge bonuses against the summoned creatures or Eidolon? My initial thought is no but I'm just kind of curious what other people think.

IMO, I think since a Summmoner and his Eidelon are linked a challenge could count against both.
A summoned creature has no link to the caster it is a completely separate entity so I would think the challenge would not work against both.

This is honestly what I was thinking the answer would be if the answer wasn't no. At the same time I could see it working against both the Eidolon and Summoner or Animal Companion and Ranger/Druid or Familiar and Wizard because they have a link I also see it not working because I think it's meant to only work against 1 entity. I don't really think I'd let it work at all I was just curious what other people thought on the subject.
