Arcane Bonded Items Gaining Magical Enhancements

Rules Questions

I just had a quick question regarding the Arcane Bonded Item a wizard may choose to select.

The entry in the Core rulebook states the a Wizard may enchant his Arcane Bonded weapon with magical properties (as if he possessed Craft Magic Arms and Armour).

It goes on to state that wands and etc can be enchanted in a similar manner.

My question is, can one imbue a Arcane Bonded Ring with the magical abilities of a magic ring (akin to turning your arcane bonded wand into a magical wand with set charges and spell effects), and add multiple abilities to the Ring or other similar item (paying costs and having access to the spells)?

Or are you limited to one magical ability or enhancement to the Arcane Bonded item ?

It seems that you could make a +1 Arcane Bonded Dagger of Flame, and say.....Returning (again if you were high enough level and such).

This implied to one of my players that you could use multiple magical enchantments on a Ring, Amulet, Stave, or Wand.

Yes, you can enchant the bonded item as though you had the relevant feat (in this case, craft magic ring). You can also enchant it with more than one enhancement.
A ring can have multiple different abilities (p.549). It costs 50% more to add other enhancements.
To make your bonded ring a ring of invisiblity will cost 10,000 gp. A further enhancement will cost the creation price of that enhancement + 50%. Still cheaper than buying two rings! You could buy (but not make, without the appropriate feat) a second ring for your other hand at full price.
Remind your wizard that it only works for him, and in anyone else's hands, it's just a masterwork ring. :-)

Benicio has it right. As long as the item would normally be allowed to be created, the Wizard can craft his arcane bond to do it.

Generally speaking, adding those extra abilities are +50% cost. Some DMs might ban creation of such custom items, but it shouldn't be particular to arcane bond items. Other than only working for the wizard, and not requiring the feat, they are just like any other item.
