Distance between Sandpoint & Magnimar?

Alright, quick question here: what's the distance between the two? I haven't been able to find out. The scales on the big map in the Map Folio is blank...

By land it is 50 miles, as the crow flies it is 45 miles. There is a scale in the Rise of the Rune Lords Player's guide. That's what I just used. Each small section is 15 miles.

While Delthos supplied a very good answer, allow me to supply the only truly correct answer for a RPG game..."Whatever Distance you want it to be" :) Though I will probably be going with Delthos' answer.

Although the distance between Magnimar and Sandpoint isn't randomly chosen... so "whatever distance you want it to be" is sorta like saying, "it doesn't matter." It does. Sandpoint is where it is because it's about a day's travel from Magnimar on horseback. Basically... as far north as one can get with a day's travel on a horse = a good place to build a rest stop like a town.

My friends and I joke constantly about the fact the map scale is in "Miles" and that's it.

Belor Hemlock rides to Magnimar in Burnt Offerings to ask for more soldiers and returns the following day. So a trip should maybe take up 6-8 hours or something?

Belor's trip to Magnimar is described in Burnt Offerings as taking 2 days on foot to get there, 2 days back, and "several" (plot-required) days of dealing with red tape and such. I'm fairly certain he is not described as leaving on one day and returning on the next.

Two day's walk, 1 on horseback, with a wayside inn/rest stop/shrine to Desna in between.
