Hey! I picked up a Connie Willis book the other day, I read C.J. Cherryh, I'm not a slave to your recommendations, Lord Dice!

Oh nice, which Willis?

Doomsday Book. I also picked up this T.H. White translation of a medieval Latin bestiary (don't remember the title). I'm terribly excited, but I'm also prepared to be terribly disappointed.

Waitwait! Read this first! Don't worry, it's much shorter.

Oh, cool, free stories. Thanks.

Liberty's Edge

Bruce?

Massive info-dump from me tonight if I can get on a computer. I have lots of campaign setting notes to show everyone.

Also, who are you, Psionichamster? I have a vague recollection that you run with the Kirth Mob, but other than that I don't know who you are.

Please introduce yourself to the FAWTL Refugee crowd.

"Run" with the FAWTLY's would be a strong term.

Observe from afar, occasionally tossing quips is more like it.

I dunno, names Todd, been loving PF since it came out, and I really dig the community here. It's a lot more fun & welcoming than other gaming sites.

Hmm. Well, I think I saw you on a Kirthfinder thread once, and assumed you were Texan, but, I was wrong!

The Paizo community is pretty fun and welcoming, but not this thread.

We're a bunch of haters.

Yeah Doodlebug is a big hater. And a big meanie.

I don't hate any of you. Except Kelsey. She's a b$@~#.

I hope you're drunk.

Happy Birthday!

Now to find alcohol in the wilds of Idaho.

I live on a federal education facility. Drinking is strictly forbidden, and would result in my expulsion.

Sczarni

Happy birthday, Kelsey.

How goes the "learn a trade" bit?

Also, hatehatehate.....there, do I fit in yet?

Thanks. Not in the trade I want to be in yet. I'm in Office Administration waiting on Culinary Arts. On the bright side, I'll probably get into CA pretty soon.

Since this part of your post was so Rudely Ignored . . .

nope.

I passed the written test for a Montana driver's license today. It was actually rather easy.

I'd ask why all the hatin', but that would be redundant, eh?

Is it true that Montana has no speed limits on the highways?

And that you can pre-buy passes to get you out of traffic violations?

Also, links for Gark's movies:

Spirited Away

Bruce Almighty is a fairly tolerable movie that I watched a long time ago.

Bruce Springsteen is a fairly tolerable musician that I listen to on occasion.

Bruce Wayne was a western star or something??

Neither is true.

Once again, I've been lied to by friends and family.

Welcome, The 8th Dwarf and all our new FAWTL Refugee friends!

This is so exciting, isn't it, Gark?

To think it all started with two goblin/trolls and an anti-Dick Cheney joke!

Also, Movies!!!!

Annie Hall Hee hee! Still makes me laugh after all these years. A+. Gets an extra plus for being the only film version of Pygmalion in which Eliza LEAVES 'enry 'iggins, just like Shaw intended. A++.

No Direction Home: Bob Dylan PBS at its finest! A++. When this debuted on tv, me and my friends made quite the party of it. So many drugs!

The Thing On the 20somethingth viewing of this classic, I realized that the ending doesn't make much sense. Whatever, A+.

John Carpenter and Kurt Russell in 2012!

All right, Trial of the Beast tonite!

Looked up everything I need on the PRD, now time to enjoy the sunshine!

JMD031's Official Rant Thread is officially a thing. Go here.

Liberty's Edge

Man, I need to watch Annie Hall.

Y'all have so many years of culture* ahead of me.

Greetings, T8D!
Does that acronym work?

I am OPENING that RANT THREAD for when I am bored and away from the INTERNET.

edit: I was going to look to see what HURT FEELINGS went down in the FAWTL THREAD, but it appears my PAST SELF has BLOCKED it.
hmm

Removed a post. This was a bit too graphic.

Gark, I'm sure that if you avoid all chances for social interaction over the next decade and, instead, spend all of your time inside reading books and watching movies, you'll eventually achieve the awesome level of cultured that I am at. Of course, by then, I'll just be up another decade on you, and you'll never ever catch up, at least until I die, or get Alzheimer's or something.

Also, The 8th Dwarf was busted! No chicken vindaloo in here, buddy!

Dark Archive

We all want to know who or what you are hiding from avoid all those social interations I am thinking you know something about where Jimmy Hoffa is buried?

It's not true. Also, I think that happened before I was born.

Liberty's Edge

S+~~, we're being watched!

Don't worry, DA, you don't have to release your age.

According to Dante, I am at the midpoint in a man's life.

Also, my age is listed on my profile.

Also, Happy May Day!

Well, May Day sucks. It's raining cats and dogs here. I'm not going to drive across state to stand with a bunch of immigrants shouting "El pueblo unido...something something something!" in the rain. Un-uh.

Dark Archive

Not much of a commie are you not attending your annual high holiday ;)

Liberty's Edge

the house unite?

also 4/20 is bicycle day, not 5/1
now you know

Liberty's Edge

Spring is brewing.

Just finished the first round of midterms.

Didya kick ass?

Liberty's Edge

If by Kickass you mean bombed (I'm still not sure whether that means bad or good) . . .

Then maybe!

I've been slacking a bit.

There are no excuses for slacking, young man! What the f&~! are you doing, you lazy brat? Huh? Tell me!! Playing D&D and huffing glue when you should be studying your algebra homework?!? [Spanks Gark with belt]

Now stop crying and go study your notes!

Anyway,

Hee hee! Time sure flies fast when you're trolling for socialism, the Grateful Dead and whatever else it was that I trolled for today.
