Do the variant zombie types add to the CR of the zombie like the skeleton variants do?
The skeleton variants actually list the CR change while the zombie ones do not.

The zombie variants (fast and plague) do not gain CR adjustments over the standard zombie. The skeleton variants add advantages, while the zombie variants also take away some of the standard zombie's defensive abilities. The loss of DR 5/slashing is enough to offset the speed increase or the disease power of the fast or plague zombie... particularly at low level where damage reduction is really hard-core.

It can join the 15HD Gargantuan Bloody Burning Crag Linnorm Skeleton Dragon.
*Shrugs* There are only so many CR5-8 creatures between the Bonus and Preview bestiaries to use.
