Velen eh; not sure if I had a character there; but was in the Paizo guild at one time; will get back on and check it out. Will get on tonight around 6:30p mst unless I am out for some lovintouchinsqueezin.

If I dont have one; can make someone; I enjoy rogues and priests mostly; I like to solo play warriors as in a group no matter what you do and how you spec and what gear you have; somebody is gonna grief you as a warrior.

You had a troll priest named Mahoe, made it to level 49. But he/she is inactive on the Armoury.

Ah; thanks. Seems wow is the only game where you cant look at your characters; in Champions online, Everquest II, Warhammer online, COH/COV; you can look at your toons. You would think Wow would do it.

now; it is going to have me respec her; I dont much like the new spec system where you can only now choose one spec field until you get 31 points into it; so guess I will go discipline.

Do we need a priest or should I roll a new one?

The World of Azeroth has changed!
Check out the destruction as Cataclysm approaches.
If you were thinking of coming back, Blizzard has Vanilla WoW and TBC for 5 bucks each and Lich King for 10 to entice you.

So they've released another big patch?

Gah! I've got so much catching up to do! These grad school app deadlines are roughly the first week of December. I'm going to have to make up for lost time after that!

"Big" is not a big enough word for this patch. Honestly.

In case you didn't know, with the Cataclysm expansion there are big chnages for guilds.

Guilds earn levels with new perks gained. Right now as a level 1 guild we are getting a 5% exp bonus. As of last night we are only 6% into Guild level 1. Will take a mighty long time to get to level 25. Progressive awards include rep bonuses and extra gold going to the guild kitty.

The guild panel on your menu bar (the little blue shield)is much more informative. You can now see all guild members professions and see what they can craft. I have all the professions up to artisan (300) with most of them at master (350) or higher on my alts. Feel free to send any one of my alts an ingame mail if you need bags/glyphs or whatever.

I spend 99% of my time playing with my guild Aeturnas Trinitas on The Venture Co. server (Horde, RP-PvP). We're up to guild level 6 already and have 150+ players comprising close to 400 characters. I've been with them for almost 5 years now, so if you want in, submit an application through the website and tell them Baneblade sent you. :)

Thanks, waltero! Now that my grad applications are mostly behind me, I've been around quite a bit more. I'd love to see that guild level build up!

I've been playing Savendir, my druid, more than my other alts, so that's how people would be most likely to catch me on.

Hello Paizonians Guild! I have a few characters active on Velen (Horde):

Tardag, Terllr, and Taulk, all low level but working on it (not quite sure why they all ended up with "T" names). I don't have a set routine for being on, but I'll keep an eye out for some of the characters mentioned a above.

(Well I proved the title of a different WoW thread accurate...)

CH, you have the patience of a celestial saint. The fishing trip was a blast, and kudos for not laughing when I tried to defend myself with the fishing rod.

I look forward to getting some of my other alts signed up with the Paizonians, meeting waltero and other members, and helping it grow.

Silver Crusade

I'll keep an eye out for your alts.

Also - sorry if I threw a lot of information at you at once. I tend to do that.

Anyone who has a spare slot needs to play a Goblin (anything) right now, just to experience the awesome hilarity that is the goblin newbie zone and starting quests. I was laughing out loud at several points.

It's just concentrated silliness. There's even a bit that feels like Grand Theft Auto, where you complete a quest by running over people with your goblin vehicle.

The Worgen starting area has Ustalav written all over it, thematically, and is more grim and gritty, and not so much with the funny.

The goblin quests are strange (my partner: "Are you playing a children's game?") and not to my liking. The worgen quests are creepy and awesome, however. That's my taste, anyway.

Lunar Festival is going on this week. My Orc Rogue is quite pleased with his fancy new Festival clothes. Just have to remember to change back into armor before my next quest.

I was wondering if we should look at adding another tab to the Guild Bank. I'm not sure what the cost is at this point; does it seem appropriate/feasible?

Silver Crusade

I'll check it out!

We can also make sure that everything in there is something that someone will want/need.

Ok, I'm kinda newish to WoW. Was curious what server this guild is on, and whether it's Horde or Alliance. (I'd look myself, but I'm leaving for work shortly)

Silver Crusade

Velen server, and it's Horde.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

I can kick in some money if we need to buy more tabs.
Maybe we could move the crafting materials to a tab.
I have some enchantment scrolls and glyphs I could put in there for whomever to use (made while levelling skills).

As CH said.

Velen is a medium populated, PvE server. Server time is PST but there is an obvious mix of time zones among the players. If you're checking for our guild in-game or on the Armory, the official name is Paizonians with an "s" (that screwed me up first time I went looking for members).

I'm "newish" too - I've been playing for bit over a month, and the Paizonians like CH and waltero have been great. You wouldn't be happy if you're looking for a raiding guild; its a social guild that primarily offers support and friendship like you experience here on these boards. But there has been recent interest in getting some more group activities going.

I'm usually on as Terllr. Drop a note here if you want to find us on Velen. :)

I can put more gold in too. Auction House has been good to me recently. Not crazy-good, just regular-good. If my Razzashi Hatchling sells for crazy-good, you guys will be the first to know :)

Ok, it's 250 gp. There's enough in the guild bank right now to cover it, but it probably makes sense to fundraise a bit. I'll throw in an extra 100, but if anyone else wants to contribute anything, just deposit it in the guild bank and we'll go from there.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

I put in another 100 and started clearing some of the trash.

Baneblade; hehe like the Super Heavy Tank?

Anyone gonna be playing on Velen tonight after 7pmish MST?

Valegrim wrote:

I don't think I'm going to get a chance - if I do, it will be brief to get my alt back to Orgrimmar. I've got a busy week coming up, as does CH, so may not get on*. After that, we were talking about trying to get some "official" group stuff going. Keep an eye on the thread here.

*I'm pursuing Grand Master of the Arena quest so periodically I pop on to fight, usually over in couple minutes (well actually I just get pasted if I don't manage to sneak in and grab the prize - lvl 40 vs. 85's doesn't go to well, though everyone seems to think its funny)

Silver Crusade

I'm there now (Savendir) so if you see me, say hello.

drat; didnt check this post last night after Daeglin; sigh

Decided to faction swap my Dwarf healer to belf female named Desna on Garrosh, lvled to 85, started gearing and cancelled my account today. I have 3 main spec healers (druid main, sham alt, priest alt) and just not liking Cataclysm enough to stick around.
Been playing since the original release.

I may try Rifts tomorrow, not sure yet.

Rifts; is that a video game now?

Silver Crusade

Oops! So here I buy a guild tab, and I forget to give anyone (including myself) access to it.

My bad! It's fixed now.

Silver Crusade

Sorry, a lot of RL crap is taking up my time right now. Hope to be playing again soon.

Hope things settle down for you. Maybe the guild will get a chance to commiserate together over some <Rumsey Rum Black Label> at some point.

On a good note, we're up to 43% on our guild progression!

Hey guys. Thought I'd let you know I'm still around. I've been leveling an alt and haven't caught anyone to get an invite from yet. I'm sure I'll catch someone at some point - name is Deiran, currently running around Hinterlands.

Silver Crusade

I'll keep an eye out! Savendir just hit 79 - I'm hoping to get into Cataclysm content soon!

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

Be ready for a rude awakening until you get some better gear in Cataclysm. Things hit pretty hard. I did both of the starting areas and preferred Hyjal over the underwater one, but YMMV.

I havent purchased Cataclysm yet; worgen and goblins dont really interest me and I dont know much about the other content; I was really hoping to get to play one of hte frog guys; and see some underwater development; but seems they took most of the frogs out of the game and replaced them with worgen; least near UC they did; they seemed to get rid of most of the places for stranglethorn herb as well.

You're right - they do hit hard. And suddenly all the gear I thought was so nifty isn't half as good as what's in Cataclysm - I feel like I need all new stuff just to be able to handle these monsters.

Silver Crusade

Due to some moving/travel stuff, I'll probably be extremely scarce for the next few weeks. I'll try to update on the boards here.

On a positive note, congrats to all on guild level 2! Also, my druid hit 85 (although I haven't done much at that level yet, and right now I'm just questing with him in Twilight Highlands as if nothing was different.)

As guild level 2, we get the 5% experience bonus!

If you have the money for it, an Illustrious Tabard is available at the tabard/guild vendor which allows for 50% bonus to your guild reputation. Once you earn honored with the guild some of your achievements willstart counting toward guild achievements.

Sweet. I'll have to pick one of those up.

Congrats to the guildies!

Now on to level 3!

Regarding the illustrious tabard, I think you have to have your guild rep at friendly first to get it. I'll have to double check. Hope everyone's having a good summer. See you around Azeroth.

Given that there is a Horde NPC group called Farstriders, Why not call yourselves "Pathfinders"?

I have an active account myself I might visit you all casually.

That post (and the guild) date back to 2007, prior to the release of the Pathfinder game. That would be a good name, though!

I haven't been around because I'm in the middle of a drawn-out move and never have time to play. Looking forward to settling, though, and getting back onto WoW.

if you just started, might be good to start on different server before you get to involved in that character....
I am not on Galakrond server.

I know it's been a long timw since people have been on, but...

I still log on occasionally and am trying to complete some goals before the next expansion is released. Would anyone in the guild be able to log on at some time and admit 3 of my lowbie alts to the guild? Let me know time/day.

Liberty's Edge

If anyone is interested in trying the game again, they have an awesome deal going on with the Scroll of Ressurection. I send you an invite, and you can come back and get Catalcysm for free (if you didn't have it), auto level a character up to 80, and even faction/server transfer for free if you want to as well.

If anyone's interested, let me know. You auto get 7 days free and if you DO sub I do get a mount out of it so it's purely selfish reasons but still. (I'm on Moon Guard if anyone's ever wanted that as their home if it matters. I'm also primarily horde side but working on alliance too if you wanted to faction change).
