I was doing a search about James Jacobs and noticed that he wrote this book. It mentions Ahazu, I dont have my mags nearby but wasnt this dude refrenced in Savage Tides? Is this the same thing or what? By the way the reason I was doing the search was because in a diffrent thread it references James Jacobs as Dr., am I reading this wrong or is JJ really hold a doctorate in something?

Heh... yeah. The Dr. thing is a joke that Matt Sernett started up when he found out I grew up in the company of many animals; we had a lot of pets as kids. So: He started calling me Dr. Jacobs, referencing Doctor Doolittle, I suppose.
And as for Villians... ha! That's the first book I ever got published in the gaming industry, and as such it kind of holds a warm spot in my heart. Lots of crazy stuff in there, some of which may actaully come back in Pathfinder now that we're doing OGL stuff there.
The ahazu detailed in that book, though, is not the same as Ahazu from Savage Tide. The ahazu in Villians is a type of demon that doubles as a sort of siege engine and/or warfare specialist. It's got nothing to do with the demon lord in Wells of Darkness other than sharing the same name (both of which were taken from the list of demon lords in the 1st edition Monster Manual 2).

I'm posting a few comments from d20pfsrd.com comments section about the various prestige classes from this book to give a wider audience a chance to see what people think about material from this book.
Regarding the Gutter Stalker Prestige Class
I freaking love this class. I was just thinking earlier how I could get my small barbarian to be surrounded by swarms in order to take advantage of the animal fury and hive totem powers.
Regarding the Dinosaur Cultist Prestige Class
Me like lots. I was in love at the 'Test of Meat'.
Test of Meat is the coolest thing ever.
Also "Test of Meat" very creative. great class.

I'm kinda surprised to see that the latest Gothic Grimoire from Legendary Games, To Serve A Prince Undying, listed this work for some details on evil uses for the Heal skill. Heck, I didn't even know it existed!
But now that I have an idea of what wickedness can be found within for 'Way of the Wicked', I guess I've just got to get it. So thanks, Legendary Games!
