About Sumaes
Standing 5'11" and weighing in at 241 pounds, Sumaes looks the part of a typical half-orc. He keeps his more important traits concealed: the special tattoo on his leg that brings him luck, a driving motivation, a questionable lineage, and a complex philosophy. He has a look for every social encounter, though sometimes it is as simple as a pair of glasses to lend his arguments an air of authority. He is genial in conversation, somewhat paranoid out in the field, and happy to let someone else take the big risks.
The only thing that rivals his likeable toothy grin is the number of delusions he operates under. He imagines himself to be a devious planner, the son of a devil in disguise, and evil to the core. Perhaps these delusions got him through a tough young life after being taken into slavery for his family's heretical beliefs. They certainly gave him a rationale for his burgeoning sorcerer powers, and for him they are easier to swallow than the truth.
