About Stinky Petr

!Cheliax faction option!:
The player who operates Pete is seeking membership for the dwarf in group with members from a wide range of factions...and Cheliax is underepresented. Originally conceived as a freedom-loving sewer scavenger, Stinky Pete seemed an unlikely to fit for a role in the Cheliax faction. The player however is keen to play and is prepared to explore another angle for this character if it fits the needs of the group...

Please consider:

Petr's alignment could lean toward the Lawful Neutral side of the spectrum instead. In this version of the character, Stinky Pete plays the role of a stern tradesman working with the Cheliax faction to clean out the filth and lawlessness in society. His experience with the sewers has lead him to beleive that society is rotting from within. He would work toward the goal of "rezoning" poor and underdeveloped parts of the city which are beyond repair to make room for glorious works of engineering and his dream of a stable, ordered and prosperous society. He would see the Cheliax faction as strong patron in working toward this goal..and thus he becomes involved in the faction.

DESCRIPTION:
This sinewy little dwarf has a thick, greasy, black beard and a mop of unkempt hair. It is hard to see if his skin is swarthy by nature or just from soot and grime. He smells like he has been in tunnel for a long while….even if he hasn’t. (It’s not as if he’ever bathes - at least not in water anyone would care to bathe in). He has a big nose and big dark eyes. His voice is gravelly with a hearty laugh that sounds like gurgling effluent. He wears sturdy overalls over leather armour and thick otterskin boots. His garb blends in with the grime of the streets and gutters. A sturdy hammer hangs over one hip and on his belt hangs a long, sharp dagger along with other useful tools.

ATTITUDE:
Rude, Profane, Insufferable, Irascible, Cunning, Resourceful. Insatiably curious. A bit of a freak.

Petr was born to a clan that has worked in Absolom's public works and construction for many years. He is a free spirit who loves delving in the sewers and tunnels – but he is not stupid about it and he takes wise precautions when he delves – he understands the dangers. He also loves to explore alleys and rooftops - he has a knack for understanding drainage systems. He seeks out hidden nooks and crannies and is fascinated by the network of Thieves' highways linking all parts of the city. He showed great promise as a young apprentice in the guild of Masons, however he detested the rules and regulations required of the bonded tradesmen. He has a tendency to waste company time embarking on his own dangerous urban infiltration schemes. His unprofessional attitude and coarse manners have left him on a short leash with the guild, Lately he has been eyeing the Puddles as a quarter worthy of exploration. His, inquisitiveness, sharp eyes and delving skills have not gone unnoticed – and astute Pathfinder Society agents have been trying to recruit him for years

He feels that the authorities are unwilling to do what it takes to invest in infrastucture, including his ambitious ideas of dismantling old works and rebuilding rotten parts of city from the ground up. He has a tendency to divert company resources to his own dangerous urban infiltration schemes. His stubborn,surly attitude and coarse manners have left him on a short leash with the guild, Lately he has been eyeing the Puddles as a quarter worthy of exploration and renewal. His, inquisitiveness, sharp eyes and delving skills have not gone unnoticed – and astute Pathfinder Society agents of the Cheliax faction have been trying to recruit him for years

ASPIRATIONS:
Petr sees himself as an urban explorer . Many of his peers are suspicious of him. Traipsing off into dingy holes is an odd pastime. He is a bit of a recluse.

TACTICS:
Petr may live on the edge, but he is a survivor. He avoids fights as much as possible, using stealth and guile to squeeze out of trouble. If he does end up in a fight he swings his hammer with grim determination. He is a wily fighter and will use stealth to sneak attack if it gives him a tactical advantage.
