Rabbai was born in Osirion to a desert elf mother and human ranger father. His mother is a native to Osirion and met his father when he arrived in the desert at the beginning of a series of adventures that would eventually end in his disappearance. He was not a native to Osirion, but was deeply interested in the history of the land and spent his life exploring desert ruins in search of artifacts and clues to the nation's history.
When Rabbai was 15 his father failed to return from a particularly far-flung expedition into the deep desert. Rabbai built upon the skills his father taught him and is following in his father's footsteps on a quest for knowledge and the power that results, both for himself and for Osirion. He has found a natural home in the Pathfinder Society within the Osirion faction.

Rabbai has always enjoyed the sound of the dunes over the sound of crowds and friends. His half-elf blood didn't often result in his being outcasted or spurned - mostly because he spent most of his childhood ranging with his father or honing his skills on his own. He values equally the study of world history and natural sciences as well as the study and refinement of the art of rugged survival and adventuring. In his mind, the two tropes are intimately related and a fine balance of both will result in great power and achievement.
