Appearance and Personality:
Noirin is tall, standing nearly 6', with an athletic build. Her long hair is a deep copper colour but she will dye it different colours as her fancy strikes her. Often hanging loosely about her shoulders, Noirin often puts her hair up in braids. Her emerald coloured eyes sparkle with a combination of humour and mischief. While attractive, she does not consider herself to be beautiful.
Inspite of growing up in a wealthy family, Noirin prefers to a more casual and simple wardrobe. This is not to say that she is above wearing sparkling jewellery, it is just not an everyday occurrence.
Noirin is very personable and friendly, smiling easily. Growing up in an influential family taught her the importance of having contacts so she tries to make friends wherever she goes. Not an overly suspicious sort, Noirin has often been accused of being too trusting of strangers, preferring to believe the best in folk before casting any sort of suspicion upon them.
As a follower of Irori, she believes that all folk want to improve themselves, to become the best that they can be, and that some will choose to do this to the detriment of others offends surprises her. She can be found exercising in the early mornings and practicing with her fathers shield.
Noirin views herself as a Merchant first, even though adventures often find her. She tends to avoid confrontations, as they often are at odds with the business transaction that she is trying to complete, but she will not shy away from a fight should it be unavoidable. Her preferred weapon is her fathers shield, or a fist or foot, and she tends not to wear any conspicuous weaponry.

Background:
--------------------
Noirins mother was born into the Deverin family. One day she met a very handsome knight who had been wounded in his journey to fight against the Worldwound. The two fell in love while he recuperated. Out of their love, Noirin was born.
Her father left to continue his crusade and Noirin never saw him again. Some time later, a man who claimed to have fought beside her father delivered a large steel shield with a large, sharp chip taken out of it. He said that the shield belonged to her father, who was supposed to be missing after a particularly nasty battle. Noirin took the shield as a momento of her father and would often wield it against imaginary foes at his side.
Born out of wedlock, Noirin chose to avoid using the Deverin name so as to not bring any shame to the house but many of the family are aware of her membership in it. Growing up in Magnimar, she took every opportunity to mingle with all levels of the cites inhabitants, following the example of her Uncle Hobart. The markets were particularly fascinating, with a wide variety of goods on display, and became one of her favourite places to explore.
Her appearance caused some annoyances as she grew older. Evidence of her fathers Celestial blood marking her appearance as something other than purely human, Noirin started to venture outside of Magnimar, visiting relatives in other towns. She took to trading as her profession and spent some time during her family visits to learn the merchant trade from them.
Though she rarely stayed in one place for very long, Sandpoint was the town that she spent the most time in, outside of her early years in Magnimar. The Deverin family had a long history with the town but Noirin found its smaller size and homelier feel to be it most attractive features and it kept on drawing her back whenever she ventured out.
She got along well with her cousins Kendra and Gaven, making a pest enough of herself that they would let her perform odd jobs on their behalf. Once she was considered old enough to partake of its offerings, Noirin frequented the brewery that her cousin Gaven ran. Both cousins were role models for the young Noirin and when she had the chance to finally strike out on her own, with the intention of going into business for herself, what better place to start than Sandpoint?
Noirin arrived in town a few days before the start of the Swallowtail festival and has been spending that time helping her cousins to prepare for the festival.
