Feats
Harrowed: You get a +1 bonus on all Will saves made to resist enchantment effects. Once per day, you may draw a card from a Harrow deck you own. At any one time for the rest of that day, you may apply a +2 bonus on any d20 roll modified by the card’s suit. For example, if you drew a card from the suit of Dexterity, you could apply this +2 bonus on an Initiative check, a Reflex save, a Dexterity-based skill check, or a ranged attack roll. You may assign this +2 bonus after you make the roll, but you must do so before you know whether the roll was a success or not.

Background
--------------------

Mivaela is a bitter person. She never really remembered her parents, and earliest memories are of traveling to Korvosa with her grandmother. They traveled quickly and often day and night as if fleeing something. They managed to survive a few years in the city, poor but managing. They lived mostly off her grandmother's harrowing and other fortune telling sessions, and when times wer elean form that, Mivaela quickly learned to lift a coin purse or a bit of food there to fill in the gaps.

Unfortunately, during a disease outbreak, Mivaela's grandmother died, the young girl was quickly snatched up by Gaedren Lamm. The foul man found her sneakiness and quick wits were valuable. However, as she matured, he quickly found that same wit and intelligence too often turned against him. She was simply too smart to work for a low life like him. Turning to her grandmother's harrowing and finding solace in prayers to Calistria's focus on trickery and revenge, Mivaela planned both her escape and her vengeance. Another orphan snitched to Lamm about Mivaela's plans, and he savagely beat her and left her for dead as a sign of how he treated disobedience.

Luck. or Calistria, was with Mivaela since not only did she survive, but rooting through her belongings, Lamm still did not find her grandmother's cherished Harrow Deck that Mivaela has carried with her all those years, nor the cheap set that Mivaela has been learning with all those years ago. With almost nothing else to her name, she survived on the streets, stealing a few more items and turning herself fully over to Calistria, selling her soul for vengeance and the knowledge to turn herself and her cards into weapons to end Lamm's life. (Thinking of it as almost like warlock pact, but with deity of trickery and revenge. May be direct divine intervention, or just simple luck and all in Mivaela's head. Who knows.)

--------------------
Personality
--------------------

Mivaela has had a difficult life so far, but also knows personally the suffering at the hands of evil and a tyrannical low life. This has led her to be bitter and angry, but also very protective of those in need, the weak, and the poor. People who would take advantage of the suffering earn her greatest wrath, and she doesn't worry yet about how much she enjoys carrying out that wrath on them.
